I've been looking at this one :
http://www.katespade.com/hello-shanghai-cruz/PXRU5188,en_US,pd.html I'm late 30s. It matches a solid red dress. Appropriate for a cocktail party? It has a high resell value, so offloading it afterwards would be no problem. |
| Why would anyone pay $250 for this? Serious question. |
| I assumed this was a joke post. There is no resale value to that. And I'm 10 years younger than OP |
| I'm not crazy about the purse, but I wouldn't say that age is the problem. If you like it and you feel like it's a good representation of your style, go for it. |
| What statement, exactly, is that making? "I couldn't finish my dinner at the restaurant"? |
| If you have to ask... |
| Ridiculous waste of money, and silly-looking to boot. |
+1 |
| I like cutesy things but I don't think anyone would look good with that bag. It's very cliche. |
| OP here. I wasn't asking who liked the bag. It's funky. I fully understand it's not everyone's style. If everyone had one, it wouldn't be much of a statement bag. |
| So many great bags on that site for far less. You can do better. |
No, of course not. She is going to return it to the store after use.
|
But you seem to think it has a high resell value. It does not, since as you can see, not many people like it. And yes, I think you'll look silly using this at your age. |
Oh, now I get it. |
These odd KS bags sell for quite a bit on eBay. Used KS bags sell well in general. I like the clutches that look like books too. |
