Is there an age limit on statement bags?

Anonymous
I don't think age is the issue here.

I actually did just laugh out loud at this one!

Me too!

I came on here totally prepared to defend you OP...but no, sorry. That bag is just not it.

You could probably find a $12 version at Claires.

This is NOT the statement bag worth an investment.

I could see my high schooler carrying that bag. It's cute, but not for a grown woman. I am dying to know the dress that would match that bag.

It is hideous.

Op, here's the future of your statement bag.

It's going to have a drinking problem? Is that what you're saying?

What statement bag is worth the investment? If its boring, I've already got a few of those. I'm looking for a conversation piece. If you have a non-boring suggestion, I'd love to hear it.

I'll bite. I don't mind the bag in general, especially that it's leather, but not for that price. Drop a zero and I'd think about it.

I have a black one in black silk floral (Chinese takeout style with Chinese silk) and it's super cute- haven't used it in years but my 4 yr old dd Luuuuurves it.

If you're Alexa Chung you can pull it off. If not, no.

Agree with PP. It's a fun bag, but you can find a dozen just as cute for $30 or less. And it's not like you need it to wear well -- I assume you don't plan to use it every day for 5 years.

I don't love the bag but I actually think the older you get, the better you can pull of interesting/quirky accessories like this bag.

Unless you are Miss Pixie, you are going to look like a crazy old lady carrying that purse.

There is no age limit on carrying ugly bags. That is hideous.
