Less "punching down" and more nervous flailing because they know GA is receiving recruiter attention.

\
you are talking about recruiting services right for kids who can't get recruited?

according to these stats, GA is way behind..

Many people do not seem to trust the I’m Youth Soccer posts as they are blatantly biased to paint ECNL in a positive light and it’s run by an ECNL parent.

Additionally, the numbers are so skewed you have to believe that the author read the book, “how to lie with statistics.”

Regardless, ECNL has been around for much longer than GA and yes more kids play in ECNL and get the lions share of recruiting.

GA is toast. they are taking every club left and right watering down what was already a mediocre league outside of about 10-15 clubs. but keep denying the truth. it is just a fact. they are going to have to offer more showcases to handle the flood gates of new teams thus more and more college coaches not showing up. Norco can't handle all the teams unless they have more days off between games for every team.

oooooof

Legacy pay-to-play media.

Agree, love how this list has no metrics listed at all. Just a list of teams we’ve never seen play, all in ECNL, that we think should be on our list! Time to pat ourselves on the back for making another social media post!

Your quote doesnt make sense. If theres more GA clubs GA makes more money. Its a simple fact. Also GA splits its top clubs out from the rest in champions cup every winter in Florida and again in finals. GA could add a billion clubs and it wouldn't change champions cup or finals attendees unless the new clubs were good enough to get invited/qualify.

You seem used to ECNL showcases which have top and lower clubs all mixed in together.

They also are ignoring ENCL's expansion and efforts to build out its own RL. Just a tactic to bring down the competition/preserve their current advantage.

GA expansion vs RL expansion is not the same thing nor similar. We are talking about ECNL vs GA expansion.

GA went from 115 teams to 125 teams. Not exactly a big expansion, but it's strategic. Oh, BTW, how many clubs does girls ECNL have? 129.

So the argument that ECNL has more division one college commitments than GA because ECNL has more teams won’t make sense next year?

I haven't seen that argument until now which is funny since it's got a pro-ECNL vibe.

The actual comparison is RL vs. Aspire. Both organizations are trying to build up a Tier 2. And both are competing for clubs at Tier 1 -- and we saw some shifting this year (purpose of this thread).

100% agree. GA does split teams based on strength In showcases. So the coaches will still show up. In GA or ECNL you just have to be in a good team and I a good bracket to get better exposure. GA or ECNL or a potato league it is just a badge. Does not change anything. Keep chasing badges.

It wont work. Every time a ECRL club does well ECNL will be forced to bring them up to ECNL or GA and MLSN will bring them on.
