Bullets can cause more than one wound, maybe through the forearm she might have tried to shield herself with?

I live in Minneapolis and I need to report what I've seen. ICE is not here for dangerous criminals. They are here to harass and intimidate people of color. They are wandering the streets in their masks, no identification, demanding black and brown people who are crossing the street or waiting at a bus stop to prove they're US citizens. They have been to my children's schools to scare children and their parents. Many children are not going to school regardless of their citizenship. We have networks of people to get groceries to families, many of whom are US citizens too terrified to go out because ICE is hanging out at Target. ICE agents have illegally broken into our hospitals to harass and mock patients and staff. We're setting up rides to get hospital staff to work safely because they're not safe if they have dark skin or an accent. I took care of a black man who was beaten by ICE in the care facility where he worked, pleading that the agents check his pocket for his papers. After they roughed him up, checked his pocket to confirm he was a citizen, they moved on to the next black employee. They're not looking for dangerous criminals. In some cases, they're going door to door in neighborhoods demanding residents prove their citizenship. In my neighborhood, there was a checkpoint where all drivers were stopped and asked for proof of citizenship. This is happening in the United States. Please don't ignore this. This is not who we are. This is not freedom. Do what you can to help. History is screaming at us.

As of this evening - one individual who allegedly stole federal government property out of an FBI vehicle in Minneapolis last night has been arrested.

The suspect is a member of the Latin Kings gang with a known violent criminal history. Thanks to great partners

There will be more arrests. Again: any individual who attacks law enforcement or vandalizes federal property paid for by hardworking taxpayers will be found and arrested.

The only things which matter are whether the shooting was legally permissible, and whether she recklessly brought it upon herself, whether it was justified or not. Everything else is just noise.

The occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

White people - volunteers - are now running errands and getting food for their neighbors of color.
