Smr
Gc
Ireton
Oconnell …
Do these teams even have a chance to compete?
Do they have college bound players?
Or is it just kinda club ball

All have college bound players just that O’Connell kids may go to Marymount.

No. The kids show up to campus, collect their paychecks, practice, then go home to Anne Arundel county. Pay attention.

If this were true (and substitute Frederick County), the Navy commit who left would still be there. This isn't Football or Basketball.

Other than GC, the others would get crushed by public schools. They are terrible.

Club teammates on SJC too. His Dad wanted him to be focal point of offense. But Wes isn't into low percentage dodging and wild shots, especially with those 3 attack men.

Nobody in the larger parent community cares about SJC dominating the WCAC in lacrosse. All these D1-level players mean no playing time for other kids (who actually want to be at SJC for the school community, not just to play a sport). I am not of a "good riddance" opinion, but, my family (and most other families) chose SJC due to the school culture and academics. If you are choosing a school just to play a sport there, well, I guess buyer beware.

He will be the focal point of the offense if he plays for his local Frederick county school. He will be their only offense

where is the lehigh commit at school now?

what public school is the middie in who went back to Frederick county?

Urbana to my knowledge is pretty solid.

Urbana won a state title last year. If they did not have the two kids who left Calvert Hall...I doubt they would have gone very far. Linganore has won 2 state titles in the last few years. Other than that.....Oakdale & Middletown are pretty good....after that....Frederick County lacrosse kind of drops off. Not sure where the kid from SJC is as far as the county goes.

This only matters if those lax players are receiving non income related financial aid. Do you carry the same argument for football and basketball? Because those scholarship players aren't returning anything to the school and taking playing time too.

Yorktown is not concerned about Langley
