Probably Prince William. No biggie. We will just drive from Arlington to Loudoun for dinners out until everybody opens.

Good idea. Support the economy. And wear a mask.

There is no mask law in Virginia, so we are not wearing.

Its really disrespectful and basically a huge F you to all the store workers you will come into contact with. If you want to walk around looking like an a-hole, that's your choice.

It is my choice, thanks. See you at Target!

Nope. At the Target near us, everyone wears a mask. You must go to a different one. So I won't see you.

But you should wear a mask. Be a good citizen.

You must be in MD, because there is no task requirement at VA Targets. So why are you reading the VA thread?

I'm in Fairfax. Where there are good citizens who follow the recommendation to wear a mask.

Agreed, I live in Vienna and pretty much everyone at every store I have been to is wearing a mask of some sort

I use my eyes. It's true that Fairfax is a very large county. I only see the people near me. They wear masks. You are not near me, obviously.

Where on earth does the mask hating PP live?? I’m in Ballston and last trip to the grocery store 10 days ago — every single customer and employee had a mask on.

I’m in Falls Church, but I’m fine driving out to the Leesburg outlets to get my shopping on! I’ll wear a mask too.

I hope arlington gets burned by being the only one

What exactly will get burned? A huge % of Arlington is white collar and WFH for months. They aren’t hurting. So a few small business go under - shrug?

PP hates gyms.

Yeah didn’t go to gyms before, certainly not stepping foot in one ever again now. You can keep working out surrounded by others’ sweat as they huff and puff next to you. I’ll keep my home gym + outdoor workouts.

So then why do you care so much if the gyms open up or not?

Because they spread communicable illness? It’s not like the person who goes to the sweat box lives there — they go home, to work, to stores?? That’s why it’s in everyone’s best interest to keep them closed.

So why are you responding as if you are the “I hope arlington gets burned by being the only one” poster?

Oh yes, because anyone who doesn’t agree with you must be in high school.

On DCUM if someone doesn't agree with you, they are either a troll or a racist. Those are the two main categories of people with different opinions

Wearing masks has cut infections by huge amounts in other countries.

Yet, y’all insist on not doing it because freedom or some bs

Screw you, dummies. You are the reason others hate Americans.

Please explain why any reasonable adult would be against wearing a mask in public during a pandemic.
