Probably Prince William. No biggie. We will just drive from Arlington to Loudoun for dinners out until everybody opens.

Good idea. Support the economy. And wear a mask.

There is no mask law in Virginia, so we are not wearing.

Wearing a mask is recommended. You don't have to but you should. You know that.

Haven’t worn one yet, and don’t plan to start now. My body, my choice.

Sure, but they won’t let you in to a lot of places. Private businesses can require them, and many do and more will start in order to protect their employees from the likes of you.

I hope arlington gets burned by being the only one

What exactly will get burned? A huge % of Arlington is white collar and WFH for months. They aren’t hurting. So a few small business go under - shrug?

And that’s why we shouldn’t open up. Too many idiots.

Yeah didn’t go to gyms before, certainly not stepping foot in one ever again now. You can keep working out surrounded by others’ sweat as they huff and puff next to you. I’ll keep my home gym + outdoor workouts.

The church opening drives me nuts. My 80+ parents and all their friends cannot wait to get back -- exactly the wrong demographic to be packing it into an indoor space.

seriously i could not agree 1000% more

Its really disrespectful and basically a huge F you to all the store workers you will come into contact with. If you want to walk around looking like an a-hole, that's your choice.

Are you age 80+ parents really going to go? I figured the churches opening (at 50% I think?) was just a nod to the fact that we’re a Southern state and maybe in rural parts people will go. But I’d assume seniors up here are too scared, no? Wasn’t one of the first set of DC/Nova cases from a church in Georgetown?

It is my choice, thanks. See you at Target!

Because they spread communicable illness? It’s not like the person who goes to the sweat box lives there — they go home, to work, to stores?? That’s why it’s in everyone’s best interest to keep them closed.

So then why do you care so much if the gyms open up or not?
