I don't care about tiger moms. I care about the horrible, incohesive K-8 curriculum in MCPS, and the lack of arts/PE/music, and excessive testing in math & reading, and the demoralized teachers, and the incompetent Central Office.

MCPS magnets are a little teaser program for families that can live outside of the beltway and bolster property values. Good thing half the bethesda houses go private and can keep subsidizing ESOL, FARMS, and relocation programs called magnet schools.
