Here’s something very interesting:

the B street Theatre this month released a statement saying they were aware of the allegations of sexual abuse around 2001 and after conducting an investigation, stated TB was no longer assoc. with the theatre.

This is in reference to the 16 year old girl.

There is ONE allegation concerning an underage girl, with corroborating witness account asserting that her father was essentially attempting to prostitute her in an effort to get his script purchased for production by Busfield’s studio connections.

Always an excuse. Lol. It was certainly ok for Busfield to allow that 16 year old girl to give him a shoulder massage while he was her teacher, right?

I definitely don’t see a connection between the parents suing an AirBnB owner for an accident that took place in their rental and the sexual abuse allegations by one of the boys.

You can ignore it but others probably won't. We know of the current landlord case and that's not the only one. You like patterns, do you see one here?

Retaliation Allegations: The defense argues that the accusations against Busfield were manufactured by the parents as revenge after their children were cut from the television show The Cleaning Lady (which Busfield produced/directed) in 2024.

Financial Motive: The defense claims the parents were seeking financial gain and were "victimized" by their own parents rather than Busfield.

The parents are not on trial. Busfield is. We have to look at his past. He clearly crossed boundaries in several different cases.

The parents haven’t made the accusations. The children have. So far we have zero evidence that the children were coached. All we have is speculation based on the parents’ past. This often happens in cases like these to try and discredit the accusations. We do have 3 different mandated reporters that reported suspected abuse, plus the anonymous tips from the set.

We have zero evidence of anything. It's going to be an uphill battle to prove anything happened at all. Your insistence of there being a pattern of abuse is in sharp contrast to the judge who released him on his own cognizance citing his lack of criminal history and the evidence. He killed himself while evading arrest for CSA charges, and some discussion suggested that Busfield was at risk for doing the same. None of this is specific or unusually cruel to him. Women and men accused of sex crimes are dragged the second those charges hit public awareness.

I read that it wasn’t merely Busfield who disputed the claims, but that another youth actor on the scene also disputed the claims, and provided all the details related to the father telegraphing his intent to make a claim against Busfield if Busfield didn’t advance his script.

Seems like the same story anyway, with the fellow youth actor adding additional claims (true or false, I have no idea) regarding the father’s financial motivation. Weird part of the story is that the 16 year old’s father is apparently a therapist, as well. Mandated reporter follow through with a SA case involving his own child? <shudder>

I definitely don’t see a connection between the parents suing an AirBnB owner for an accident that took place in their rental and the sexual abuse allegations by one of the boys.

The parents are not on trial. Busfield is. We have to look at his past. He clearly crossed boundaries in several different cases.

You're fooling yourself if the credibility of the accusers won't be involved.
