Start blaming NCap they made this mess

NCAP made business choices. If you are unhappy, leave.

None of the people who are talking stuff have kids at NCAP.

There absolutely are NCAP parents all over this page and it’s embarrassing

Some of you should re-examine your own parasocial relationship with the local swim scene when you are turning a swim club for kids into a pseudo reality show to gossip about.

Agree. No doubt those NCAP Prep and Nova groups texts are BLOWING UP though.

Your brain moves at the speed of a B3 swimmer!!! Good luck!

Exactly- it was a financial decision. Has never been about the betterment of the swimmers, other than a select few. Pure greed.

Ironically, Tom states it costs more money to acquire clients than to keep the ones you have. Guess he forgot to mention this to his daughter. Another concern is that he mentions Phil as an up-and-coming coach; his loyalty on this point was short-lived and seems to be with everyone.

Isn’t hiring a well-respected college coach a huge upgrade in service to your swimmers? If anything, this feels like a cold, disloyal move to your coaches, but not greedy.

I’m honestly curious if you are an NCap family bc we know NCap to be incredibly greedy and yes, we are looking to leave

Does anyone know why JB was let go? And where he's going?

I have a younger swimmer at MU who I was hoping would have him in a year.

Spencer is in charge now and she railroads most things. Unfortunately, she just hasn’t learned customer service or employee management and it shows.

Wow did not realize Tom retired

Does she actually know anything about swimming?

Yet, she has a background in HR? 🤔

Spencer joined the club in the Spring of 2017. Her background is in Human Resources, previously working as a HR Executive Team Leader for Target and then as a Campus Recruiter for BDO, a large public accounting firm.

The announcement did read like an HR email.

Right but does she understand *swimming* and was she ever an athlete?

In our brief interactions with her she’s been incredibly…what’s the word I’m looking for here….Mean? Severe? Impatient? Definitely lacks in customer service. If I were a coach I’m not sure I’d like dealing with her. TU was awful to the coaches (our age group coach told us that once straight up)

Agree - her communication skills are severely lacking. In addition to all the adjectives listed above, she is extremely passive aggressive.
