Trump today and MAGA still claiming Harris never worked at McDonald’s

And the first time you told a soul was 5 years ago?

+1.

This is a stupid argument, but let's face it: Kamala's story about working at McDonald's simply does not stand up.

I had my first real job when I was 16, in 1985. If I had to prove now that I worked for 1.5 years at that little department store in North Carolina, I could do it.

Then the last 40 years must have been really boring for you. Didn’t you do anything in your late teens or twenties? Most people have more interesting things to remember about being sixteen.

Very odd response, but happy to answer your question. Of course I did many things in my late teens and twenties, and I have many fun and interesting things to remember about being sixteen. I guess I'm totally missing your point. Wasn't your first job memorable? All I said is that I could prove that I worked there for 18 months or so if I had to.

How would you prove it?

Who'd want to risk that?! Even if I were lucky enough to have worked with her, knowing how crazy MAGAs are, I'd keep it to myself.

Oh please. The media, celebrities etc all adore Kamala. Anyone coming forward saying they worked with her at the time would be celebrated.

+1. Someone, by now, would have stepped forward and said, "oh, yeah, we worked together summer of '81. We used to flip a coin to see who had to clean the ice machine."

The fact that this has not happened is telling.

??? I mean...no. Nobody is going to remember flipping a coin in 1981. I don't even remember the names of the restaurants I worked.

This is honestly so bizarre to me. I remember the places I worked, where they were located, some first names/faces of coworkers and various work stories etc. I’d recognize most of them if I ran into them somewhere, and certainly would remember if I had worked with the VP of the US - whose face is on tv all day and on the front page of the newspaper etc. I mean- c’mon that is crazy.

How old are you?

48

You want a Happy Meal for your great memory? I have zero idea the names of the rando restaurants I bussed and dish washed at in the late 80's. And I'd have no shot remembering any names/faces that worked there.

Here's another take; So, what if Harris lied??? Something this small is nothing compared to the man she is running against. She is running against a pathological liar, that guy lies as easily as breathing. People who are supporting Trump, to them decorum, civility, honesty, lies, insults etc should not matter at all, I mean you guys are supporting Trump.

And she was raised Hindu and still living with her mom during this alleged job, but her fav meal was a 1/4 pounder beef cheese burger. Interesting.

“Harris first mentioned her brief stint on the fryer when she joined the picket line with fast food workers in Las Vegas in 2019 and during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in April. (Her order? “Quarter pounder with cheese and fries,” and barbecue sauce for dipping if she gets McNuggets).”

I think she’s a compulsive liar who will say literally anything and got away with it because California media is controlled by the puppet masters who handed her a career. High on her own supply.

Do you also call Trump a compulsive liar or you just pretend he doesn't lie?

Not PP but it would be easy for me to provide the names of people I worked with for my summer college jobs or at the very least friends who were around me at the time who could attest to it. This isn’t that hard.

Your friends attesting to something is "proof". Ehhhh, ok...

Yep.

And every time Trump's lies have been pointed out, they just say "But Harris" and ignore that Trump lies all the time.

It's really kinda funny. But mostly sad.

My sisters and brother could confirm it.

Numerous friends and a first boyfriend from high school could confirm it.

I still have, somewhere, the little plastic nametag that said "Miss Smith."

A teacher who who wrote my college recommendation letter could confirm it.

I remember the names of some of the other people who worked there. Granted, most of them are probably dead now, but that could be verified.

Maybe not, but I bet if you had to prove it under penalty of national embarrassement, you could do it.

I bet your mother still has the picture of you in the uniform.

There weren't cell phones with cameras then. My parents barely have any pictures of me from the 1970's or 80's and the idea of one in a work uniform...really? Maybe your family had cameras and film or whatever, but that isn't everyone's experience.

I had every job you could dream of when I was a teenager in the 80s and my parents never took a picture, no.

Plus Harris wasn't living at home when she worked at McDonald's. She was in college. Without cell phones. Also, JFC, this is the new Obama birth certificate for you racist losers.

It was a California location, allegedly. Summer before sophomore year at Howard, where she had just transferred (so her first year at Howard). Her, her sister, and mom has just moved to Cali from Montreal for mom’s big promotion.

Nope, sorry MAGA losers - no one is interested in playing along with your latest manufactured outrage. See you in November.

Except that in the case of Kamala, we can't even get that. Believe me, if just one person came forward and confirmed that they worked with her at McDs, this whole thing would be put to rest.

Isn't it ironic that Vance said on air that he lies and we have 31 pages of a lot of people mad that might have lied.

Either you're fine with politicians lying or you're not. You cannot have it both ways.

If Trump/Vance saying Haitians eats dogs doesn't appall you enough to not vote for them, which brought total chaos to Springfield, why does this much less significant "lie" matter, when it doesn't incite violence and threats to citizens?

We were poor. I needed to work at McDonald’s to pay for college. *immediately transfers to prestigious private college 3,000 miles away from home*
