Here is how to transfer to any high school in the area

Justice got hammered in a scrimmage against McLean. I can only imagine the carnage when they face off against Hayfield in early November.

Is Mclean usually bad at football?

I believe that’s to motivate the players and there’s a hashtag with that number. It was reported in the Fairfax Time story that was reprinted USA Today.

Encouraging your players to be beating an opponent by 40+ points is horrible sportsmanship.

It doesn't sound like this coach or school has a lot of integrity.

Yes.

I listened to the portion of the school board meeting. It sounded like the bulk of the "400" hours Reid was repeating over and over again was just standard enrollment paperwork. And the "residency checks" seem to just be paperwork checks. Garbage in, garbage out.

On Sunday, some much higher up person than the usual person who does this job contacted a few of the families ahead of time and let them know they would be stopping by later that day. It doesn't sound like most of the families were checked in person at all and definitely not more than once.

If they had the usual staffer do it, they probably wouldn't have called ahead of time and then oops, they would have found something no one wanted to find.

They were very concerned about the cost of an independent review/investigation.

But they weren't at all concerned about the cost of educating all these kids who may not live in Fairfax.

How is Hayfield not getting in trouble for this? You’d think that FCPS wouldn’t want to pay to educate 20 out-of-county students.

It would take an admin with serious job security to make a kid prove they are homeless - it’s insane they are going that route but nothing shocks me anymore.

To publicly humiliate and expose the fact that kids are homeless is low. I’m glad these kids are getting support. People please be more sensitive when speaking about poor kids that may have less due to circumstances beyond their control.

No one is homeless. There is an allegation that kids were claiming to be homeless to avoid residency checks.

Guys like this coach make their real cash through private training and their AAU teams and what not. (Which I am sure he has plans to used Hayfield facilities to run.)

Homeless kids don't pay for private training.

Hayfield is going to win the championship this year.

Who cares? They are going to have a miserable season with people questioning their integrity all season, fights at games, opponent fans booing them. Their own Hayfield families don't support this coach.

Fcps wastes so much money, but all the sudden they're stingy on a 3rd party audit on residency checks. And now a public scandal to boot.

Glad they have their priorities straight.

And no one will respect that school either way. Cheaters paradise.
