+1 you probably want to keep an eye on your blood pressure, former prosecutor/defender/alum of the prestigious criminal justice clinic at Georgetown. |
+2. I've got enough of that person's resume myself (I also did the criminal justice clinic, it's a good experience, but "prestigious" is weird), that I'm a little worried I know her. |
| Anyways, courts adjourned for the day. I thought McCabe did well. |
you must be a terrible attorney to believe such lies. GULS should take your degree back. You have no investment into this case. I am local. My parents live in Canton. Everyone in town knows she didn’t do it and is getting railroaded while I pay for it as a taxpayer. Every ALL CAPS comment you make can be rebutted. MSP is garbage as is Canton PD. Look at the Birchmore case. |
+10000 she admitted to what 4-7 people she hit him! |
| Well I hope this jury isn't full of morons this time around. This case is so obvious. She's 1000% guilty. She belongs in jail. |
No probable cause to investigate the home and people in it? The guy was dying on their property! Since she killed him? That has not been proven yet. You sound like a Canton c**t yourself. Do you have the New England sh|t lip? Not invested in this case at all, but New Englanders are weird and petty. |
| It was a house full of self-admitted drunk drivers, some convicted for it including Chris Albert who killed someone. We know they all drove to the house drunk and some left the house drunk at various times of the night, including right around the same time as Karen. So if he was hit by a car, how do we know Karen is the one drunk driver who did it? |
|
It makes zero sense. Let's say she DID hit his arm with the corner of her car in reverse. Even at 25 mph (so unlikely) that is not enough to kill a person. Why would he then just go lay down in the snow and wait to freeze to death?
Also, if she knew (or even thought) she hit him, why would she call him so many times afterward screaming at him leaving incriminating messages about how mad she was? |
She did great! |
I'm not the crazed attorney, but your opinion isn't more valid just because you have ties to Canton. There is no way she didn't hit him. No way. He would still be alive if she had not hit him with her car and left him to die in the cold. |
|
The minute, I heard that the cop stayed in his house while the person dying on his front lawn and refused to go outside to help. I knew they were guilty.
I have a household of law-enforcement officers and believe me, dude is guilty AF |
He was already dead. Killed eight hours earlier by Karen |
|
What about the two minutes that he was walking around and using his phone after she had driven away? He turned on and the turned off his phone using the lock button two minutes after she had left.
|
Yes, this part is what I come back to: she had to have left already to get to his house at 12.36. She could not have been there and we know he was alive and well at that time. Meanwhile there was a house full of other people and a driveway/road in front of the house with people still there. So why were they not investigated more if the idea is that he was struck with a car considering they had cars there and Karen Read did not and they were just as impaired as she was? |
