What can American women learn from foreign women?

My family was very strict growing up I.e. Not wearing shorts, dating, etc. Even though we come from different cultures it worked. We've been married for 12 years. I was a sahm for 5 years and now I work part time. Honestly, I think what drew me to my husband was that he is traditional about being the provider. A lot of my friends thought I was crazy to marry him 1 year after dating. Some of them are fine but others are single and want kids but they are 35ish.

So op maybe look for a foreign guy. People marry for all kinds of reasons. I have always been attracted to other races.

There was a separate spin off thread that was started about what American guys could learn from foreign guys and it was a fraction of this thread’s length

Which is odd since this is predominantly a woman-centric forum and one would think there would be more responses in that thread

But the general conclusion by multiple posters was that American men are in general way better than foreign men

Because they are more attractive, are more feminine and are less lucky to say garbage like "I'll never marry an American man because I don't want to have another child to clean up after."

Latin American women RULE.

You like them because that culture is misogynistic. Big surprise.

You're a perfect example of why guys prefer Latin women.Nobody wants to hear lame feminist buzzwords when they can hang out with someone who is fun, healthy, and actually enjoys life.

DP.

What does "prefer" really mean?

Where are the multitude of American guys marrying Latin women?

OR perhaps most of us are able to use our critical thinking skills to realize that "foreign" is a broad and meaningless category. Unlike the misogynist apes in this thread "me want foreign woman"

"Prefer" = date, marry, sex, friends

The entire continent of South America. All American guys in SA pursue latin women and have no interest in American or European women.

Maybe you should analyze why you are calling people names (misogynist) who are stating a personal preference. Maybe you are jealous? And you just called a black man an ape. Your misandry and racism is abhorrent.

Ok? Why don't the ones here go there to get them? It's not that complicated if they "prefer" them.

What could she be jealous of? American men overwhelmingly marry American women. They can rant all they want, but they marry American women.

Since I can’t change my nation of birth, what lessons can I learn from foreign women (any nationality) that make them more appealing?

To address the stereotypes: I’m not fat or even close to it, I’m not bossy, I don’t *think* I act entitled although I can’t really judge that myself, I don’t rant about the “patriarchy,” I don’t have tattoos or blue hair, and I don’t think gender norms are inherently bad.

I came to US primarily inspired by watching Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct as a teen. Honest to God, my parents sacrificed a lot to get me educated, I read widely, but all it took is that one movie. I am hell bent on coming to USA. Not for Sharon Stone, but that I what I thought women would be like in USA.

lol.. this is like when I was in Europe in the 90s, and the men there thought all the women in CA looked like the Baywatch babes. I am from CA, but I don't look like those women.

Stereotyping goes both ways.

Latin women are the best. Some of them have tempers but most of them are fun, attractive, laid back and love their men.

you know this because you know most Latinas?

It's like saying "most Asian women are submissive and let the men make the decisions". LOL. You should ask my white DH what he thinks about that stereotype.
