How so? You mean because a Republican might beat a Democrat? Only in the mind of a LWNJ would that equate to a "dictatorship." Most of us call that a democracy.

You guys have long since abandoned democracy and embraced authoritarianism/fascism.

But this is now a thread of celebration! An appreciation for all the poor folks who have had to serve on the dozens and dozens of grand juries for the most terrible ex-President*** we’ve ever had (so far. Until the next GOP POS).

They just can't celebrate in public.

Exactly! The happiest people today are not just Dems but many of the mainstream Republicans that despise Trump and are too scared to cross him. And those that want to run for president will be doubly excited.

Facts.

It's a win for the country club wing of the GOP rather than the populist.

BWWWAHHAAA!
The Populist wing!!!
Of the GQP????

What do you think MAGA was?

Trump making promises to improve the lives of working class white voters.

Not that he followed through, but he was the only one to address their fears.

That was the one book that Donald was alleged to have kept on his nightstand and referred to.

I doubt he could string that many sentences together in a coherent fashion.

Interesting that you divide the working class into white and non-whites. Why didn't Trump address the fears of the black working class?

Maybe he'll tweet it out.

OK, but you do know that Trump detests them, right? He sees the white working class as bovine losers.

He plays them like a fiddle but they feel "heard." Meanwhile, he sees them as a herd.

"Losers and suckers," as he likes to say.

For better or worse, the GOP is percieved as the "white" party, despite them not advocating for them because that would be racist.

The black working class has been incredibly loyal to the democratic party post 1960s.

You could make the argument that his anti-immigrant rhetoric and pro american job stance would benefit them, but they are reliable Dem voters and unlike the GOP the Dems actually do things that benefit their votors, while the GOP only does things that benefit their donors.

Sure, I agree, but he saw a sizable part of the electorage that has been ignored for years by both the GOP and Dems.

He only surged to popularity because he was the only one to acknowledge their existence.

Shouting the typical GOP mantras about tax cuts for the wealthy doesn't really energize working class whites.

Whoosh. Right over most of DCUM's heads. LOL.

CNN reported that Trump is under indictment for 34 counts of falsifying business records. Stormy is just the face the media is displaying.

Let's not forget that the jailed Weisselberg fired his Trump financed lawyers yesterday and many have said he is flipping. He has a 40-year story to tell.

Summary of similar cases in NY state:
