Bullis vs Spaulding —— Bullis
Gonzaga vs Prep ——- Prep
St. John’s vs DeMatha —— St. John’s
PVI vs Episcopal —— PVI
Landon vs St. Paul’s ——- St. Paul’s

Predictions below

Bullis wins big 15-7 (the money left Spaldings program a year ago, they are back to the bottom of the MIAA)
Prep wins 12-6 (Lil Hoyas have too much firepower for the Eagles to keep up)
SJC wins 14-4 (SJC dominates time of possession with their fogo)
PVI wins 10-6 (EHS can't match the Panther's athleticism)
Landon wins 7-6 (expect a low-scoring contest)

I think the Bullis and Prep games will be closer.

11-8.

Actually, it was 11-9. Gilman scored their 9th goal in the final seconds. Pretty even game throughout and basically tied until 4th quarter. Neither team looked very good, especially in the first quarter. STA's top senior attack scored 7 goals. Without him they wouldn't have an offense.

how'd the upenn guys do?

The Cornell guy got hurt, hopefully not badly but he is their best defensive player and he popped his hamstring.

GZ settled 6v6 offense is nothing too stellar and the Eagles don't face off particularly that well. The Eagles do have one of the better goalies in the area and their defense is legit so they might be able to slow down the Hoya's potent offense. I still think Prep wins, 10-6, but the game will appear to be much closer than the final score.

Bullis should steamroll Spalding tonight.

I'm expecting much closer games today due to the rain and sticks bagging up. I expect closer games and lower scores.

Tuesday will be a great game with SJC and true test for this team. That PVI defense has been really locked in recently and will be a great battle against an athletic & skilled SJC Offense.

The games within the game to watch: FoGos & Goalies.

Probably 1&2 at each position in the WCAC.

Should be a good game. Low scoring. St. John’s is having a hard time scoring. Defense is solid.
