I wonder if it is like those fly by night AAU basketball programs that just seem to appear for a year and the disappear. Never heard of them before. |

Culver over Boys Latin 13 - 5
I know Culver was very good but didn't know they were that good. |
They are definitely that good. |
| STA over Gilman 11-9 |
11-8. |
|
This has to be one the best STA has fielded in a decade.
Wins over Spalding, Gilman, and St Pauls are huge for their program. |
They are very up and down though. |
|
agree but a good sign in wich the program is headed under Heeter.
4 years ago STA's program was in the sewer |
|
Actually, it was 11-9. Gilman scored their 9th goal in the final seconds. Pretty even game throughout and basically tied until 4th quarter. Neither team looked very good, especially in the first quarter. STA's top senior attack scored 7 goals. Without him they wouldn't have an offense. |

Tomorrows games
Bullis vs Spaulding —— Bullis Gonzaga vs Prep ——- Prep St. John’s vs DeMatha —— St. John’s PVI vs Episcopal —— PVI Landon vs St. Paul’s ——- St. Paul’s |
I don't think STA has ever knocked off Gilman in the past 30 years, regardless it's a huge win for the Bulldogs. |
This looks right to me. I think Prep/Gonzaga game will be close (regardless of what you think of either team) because of the pure rivalry nature of the game. |
how'd the upenn guys do? |
Predictions below Bullis wins big 15-7 (the money left Spaldings program a year ago, they are back to the bottom of the MIAA) Prep wins 12-6 (Lil Hoyas have too much firepower for the Eagles to keep up) SJC wins 14-4 (SJC dominates time of possession with their fogo) PVI wins 10-6 (EHS can't match the Panther's athleticism) Landon wins 7-6 (expect a low-scoring contest) |
