2028 Girls Lacrosse

Could be slow server, spam filter, or sometimes they go out in a particular order. Don't read much into it yet. We've seen them trickle over a few hours in the past with the full range of news (yes, blue, orange, no, waitlist, etc).

They tell you when you’re waitlisted?

Did ‘no’ emails go out or do you just assume if you didn’t get an email it’s no?

Not necessarily. Many girls doing years of HB clinics did not make a team.

If you don’t want to wait for Pride (which is going to take a big hit) and are willing to travel the MD boards make it seem like lots of uncertainty and movement happening. SW M&D and MDU seem like possibilities depending on your daughter’s skill level.

Stars has a tryout on Wednesday. For the 2027s, they are definitely the next local option after Cap. If you don’t want to travel to SW or Heroes to play on their B team, I think that’s better than the other local choices.

What I am seeing is all welcome emails and wait list emails are out. The No emails will come out once all roster spots are locked in and accepted.

I hear Pride will have big numbers for tryouts. Lots of people looking for something better and more competitive. We’ll see soon enough.

Pride is a better option than high school stars.

Good job cherry picking one year. Pride > Stars

The poster at 10:16 this morning said they got a rejection.

I think this used to be true but not anymore. Stars is known as the Capital C team and when they need players they will grab from there.

My DD estimated 120-ish girls. Seemed to her that some of the drills were overcrowded and hard to stand out, but some of the smaller smaller drills provided better opportunities.

Anyone know how many goalies were at tryouts?
