To those long-term Jen followers (plus 10 years)- remember when on her blog, the Chick Fil A boycott was going on about their stance on marriage, and she wrote about "spending time in the basement until the storm passes." This was before she was pro gay marriage. She was a little more cautious about the hot takes. Now, her whole feed is a perpetual hot take. And, not always very graceful and often she face-plants. But long-ago Jen was a little more cautious. |
Yes, it is devoid of any care for Cruz's daughter's well-being. Ugh. |
Oh yeah this would drive me crazy. And now you’ve put words on why certain people drive me crazy! |
| It seems that the age of social media has really set the process of maturity way back for so many. Instead of becoming more selfless toward others, less self-focused, and developing more self-control, the constant striving for clicks, likes, and relevance is driven by the exact opposite of those things. |
| Tyler’s Xmas movie post is about his moms love of Xmas movies and no mention of jen. She’s been awfully quiet |
I think it’s over or it’s about to be over. The pressure of long distance, Brandon’s marriage, and the realization that Tyler grifted the grifter. |

Yeah did Tyler even know Kimberly William Paisley before Jen?
I’ve been sick for the past week and my boyfriend has been taking care of me all day and night. Grateful for the loving partners out there. Sorry I’m rambling. |
| Will her over-the-top tribute to Tyler in the cookbook-thank-you-notes be edited out of future prints…? |
| Still waiting for Jen to incorporate him into her family Christmas traditions. |
| What do y'all think of her post today mocking Remy's Christmas list? |
It made me grateful that my kids provided completely reasonable and affordable gift suggestions. |
Agreed. It brought to mind those Jimmy Kimmel Halloween candy videos. I could never understand why parents would publicly share or even be privately amused by kids acting like rude little monsters. If my own teenager even remotely seriously suggested half of that list (or any of Remy’s previous lists, which Jen has shared in the past), I would be embarrassed to have raised them to that point of entitlement. I’d be taking that list to their counseling appointment, not the internet. This year’s list was even sent from Spain where she is probably already living it up on her parents’ dime. Being materialistic and worldly is a learned behavior…Hope no one is paying to take Jen’s parenting course. |

“Hey hobos”
Is it supposed to be cute for a teenager to address her parents this way? I find it disturbing how they just accept and laugh at this rude behaviour. Rémy is almost 17 years old. I can only imagine Rémy apply for her first big internship or job and the committee discussing her background check. Spoilt, socially delayed, and petulant come to mind. As her mother, Jen should more careful about what she’s posts about Rémy. |
Oh Jen would die if they spent the Christmas holidays together. Tyler is the one who would hold out. Let’s see what happens. If his mon is such a Christmas fanatic, I don’t see how he doesn’t spend it with her. |

Trying to picture Tyler getting his Christmas on in Texas with teens and college students around...Nope. Can’t see it. And based on how stiff they were with each other on the video call, I doubt Tyler’s mom (Mrs. Merritt, as Jen called her) is eager to host Jen for Christmas fun in Vegas.
Meanwhile Brandon’s mom is publicly gushing over her son’s wedding photos and gorgeous new bride. That’s the kind of reception you want from a MIL. I’m sure the kids would have a more enjoyable holiday break at that house, but they’ll probably feel obligated to spend it with Jen…where they’ll have the added confusing pressure put on them to now diss Tyler after being forced to endorse him for almost a year. |
