Anyway, the complaint is that she didn’t like her accommodations when filming and went to Wayfair to ask for money to get her security deposit back and get another apartment. Odd, but OK. It’s nice to be an actress I guess.

Apparently wayfarer agreed and they gave her the upgrade and then justin said something that made her uncomfortable about the sanctity of motherhood. So maybe weird inappropriate behavior, but doesn’t sound like sexual harassment?

But hey, she got a nice upgraded apartment in New York City. All of these people are really really strange and they all sound fragile to me.

+1 As of now Jenny didn't say he sexually harassed her. This is exactly why THR should've shut their damn mouth. There's very little information about what happened and people are already have misconstrued it.

Baldoni and Heath were both explaining to BL what it is like to give birth and what that experience should be like.

They seem to think they have the ability to be more in tune with women than the women themselves which is pretty sexist but in their minds that makes them look sensitive.

The difference here is Lively was acting and the men were her directors. It’s literally her job to take their input.

Agree. It’s like a parallel universe here. This is a film set, remember, these conversations are occurring based on how the director envisions the film playing out. IMO this is completely different than male coworkers trying to ‘mansplain’ childbirth to a female colleague. It’s a movie set.

Bit of a diss to the cue card guy, but still.

Wow I’m glad a rag controlled by Ari set the record straight.

I would love to watch all of these wimpy babes flounder in real life experiences. Throw them into real life for just one day.

This isn’t Justin from accounting mansplaining to Blake at the front desk or whatever. Even then, who cares?

Not exactly. Baldni telling her all women give birth nude in real life and so she needed to do that in the movie and Heath showing her a video of his naked wife a day after the scene was shot are not about being movie directors or taking input.

This isn’t SH though? Weird? Maybe.

+1 and the PP twists the details from the THR article in inaccurate ways. There was nothing in there that said Slate was trying to upgrade her housing, or that Wayfarer was paying for the upgrade. She said she was unhappy with the apartment she was renting because it posed some issues for her toddler but that she wasn't going to move because she didn't want to pay the 15k security deposit to get out of the lease. It's not even clear she asked them to pay for it -- it sounds like they volunteered.

I'd really like to know what Baldoni said that was so upsetting that Slate reported it to HR given that the conversation was about Wayfarer paying 15k to help her break her lease. I would put up with a lot of weirdness to save 15k! I feel like it must be something really bad.

Yes, sorry I said upgrade, Jenny was clearly asking to change the apartment which required a $15,000 security deposit which sounds pretty swanky to me so she could go rent a a shit hole for her and her toddler. Yes, I badly misconstrued it.

Give me a freaking break. These people are completely insufferable. I would love to find out why it was inappropriate for her toddler. I can’t stand these people and I used to absolutely love Jenny Slate and was going to get her book. Oh well.

Social media and the internet will be the downfall of these people. Prior to the internet we didn’t actually know anything about actors and it was for the best. When we actually see a glimpse into the lives of actors, directors, etc. they’re such unlikeable, entitled, cringe worthy primadonnas. I want to boycott Hollywood, I am over these idiots.

You can't read. She was paying for her own apartment. NYC real estate is insanely expensive and deposits can be highway robbery. Normally you'd get it back but she wanted to leave early because there was some problem with the apartment for her kid. She didn't want to lose a 15k deposit because that's a huge amount of money, even for a famous actor. Already the cost of accommodations in NYC we're probably eating into her paycheck for the movie.

We have no idea what Heath said. I think it's weird you've written Slate off for this. It sounds like she didn't want to come forward, was dragged into it by Lively and maybe THR, and we still have no idea what Heath said that was bad enough to make her report it.

It's super weird to me that your conclusion from that is "I hate Jenny Slate." Take a breath.

You do realize the studio pays for accommodations for actors while they’re working? She wasn’t paying for any of that.

Regardless, if she complained at the time, Jenny now considers the matter closed. She does not want to sign unto the lawsuit and does not want to take further action against Wayfarer. So forcing her through a subpoena is going to be really rich.

I find it interesting that I cannot find anywhere on her socials Blake’s post supporting her book. I guess she took it down because the alining herself with Blake doesn’t feel so good right now.

I wonder if there’s anyone who worked on this movie that doesn’t regret it.

No they don't always pay for the accommodations. Jenny lives in NYC. She wasn't traveling there for work. There is zero context on what this situation is about and you're already ready to burn her at the stake with misinformation.
