| And what are you getting him? Desperate for ideas. Thank you! |
| Money. |
|
Newly 8, so on the low end of that age group.
Gaming system. (We are getting PlayStation TV for $140). Playmobil pirate boats and anything about dragons. Legos Arctic sets |
| What does your kid like? |
|
Legos, a few toys from the Fat Brain catalog, and a Kindle (or Ipad Mini). He's out of luck on the latter, but he can keep wishing!
He will also get a wallet, a bean bag chair or a reading pillow (if I can find one of those old fashioned ones that has arms sticking out the side), and an Xbox 360 game. |
| DS is 9. I just got him an indoor basketball hoop (hangs on the wall/door), a magic kit, a combo analog/digital watch. |
|
The Skylanders that connects to a kindle or tablet.
A microscope |
| My son would love his own tablet, etc but that's not going to happen. He wants a Pokemon game for his DS and some Legos. |
Where'd you find the indoor basketball hoop? |
| 10-year old DS says he wants one thing- Legos. |
| 9 hr old boy wants Heelys, Roblox and cotton robe because he's to lazy to dry off. |
|
This is mines actual list:
Lego Star Wars star destroyer Some other Lego movie thing An iPod touch (no) An iPhone (nope) A large Pokemon set Pajamas $100,000. |
|
10yo refuses to make a list because he says "I'll get obsessed with it. Just get me whatever you want."
I'll probably get him one of those Elenco electrical engineering kits, some new clothes, and a book or two. (He already has a phone and computer but he's restricted from both for the quarter because of last quarter's report card. Access to both is tied to his grades -- he must maintain straight As to use the phone, and the computer he can only use for schoolwork until he brings his grades up.) My 7yo, on the other hand, presented me with an official list two weeks ago and reminds me regularly that it exists. |
There are lots of them on amazon. |
I looked up "backrest with arms" and found a few on amazon. Pottery barn also might have some. |
