I was at a kid's birthday party and talking to a someone I had just met. We talked about our kids, mine is a 2 year old boy. Hers are a 4 year old girl and a 9 year old boy.
It came up that I had never seen the movie "Frozen." Neither has my toddler. The mother was paused in great surprise. I don't know why she'd be so surprised. Perhaps because she has had to watch it many, many times. It got me wondering if others with only one child, a toddler, has never seen the movie? |

I have a 4yo boy and a 2yo girl, and we've never sen it either.
Then again, I never saw "Titanic", so that shows you how I roll .

| I have two children but a toddler boy and a newborn - never seen Frozen. |
| I finally saw it about a week ago at someone else's house - they put it on the for kids to watch. My kids saw it once in the theater with a babysitter but never wanted to buy the video or anything. |

seems fair enough with just a 2-year-old, who is probably not watching whole movies yet, even if you were willing to let him. that said, I have a 2-year-old and have seen it because it was least annoying thing to watch on a cross-country planetrip recently. I actually quite enjoyed it!
I'm not above using the TV as a babysitter, but there's no way it would work for the length of a movie anyway. so she gets the occasional episode of dora. and is strangely fascinated by the croc hunter. |
| I have a 2-year-old DD and haven't seen it. |
| I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old. They have both seen it but I've never watched it (other than the YouTube video of "Let it Go"). No interest. |
| Haven't yet but I have all boys. We have been to many frozen themed parties and I know a lot of the soundtrack from other kid interactions. I am definitely not keeping it from them, they just are stereotypical boys/not interested in princesses. |
| Parent to a 3 and 5 year old--no one in our family has seen it. |
|
I remember when my children were younger in the early 90's + I was the only parent who seemingly had never seen "Beauty and the Beast."
I felt like I was missing a limb or had horns growing out of my head. I guess that is equivalent today to not having seen "Frozen." |
| 2 kids and I haven't seen it |
| Me. Mom to a 2-year-old. Never seen it, no desire to. |

Did you bring it up or the other mom?
We hadn't seen it when it was in theaters, though I did by chance see it elsewhere, without my kids. I don't know at what age people start taking their kids to movie theaters but I just don't see that as a relaxing family activity with my 3 year old, so she's seen whatever old Disney movies my parents still have around on VHS and the movie All Dogs Go to Heaven (free on Hulu) but not much else - she doesn't seem to find movies very entertaining, gets up after half an hour of it to play with a puzzle, so I'm not going to spend money on taking her to the movies. |
| 3 year old twins. I have seen the Youtube video of "Let It Go" but none of the rest of the movie. My kids have seen about 20 minutes of the movie. We went to shop at "Once Upon a Child" one time and they sat in the kids play area and that was on. So they watched it while Mom and Dad shopped. My wife has not seen any of it. |
| Another mom of 3 year old twins here. I've never seen frozen, and they've never seen a movie. |
