Wonder how many Mclean 06 and 03/04 players were going to be missing this weekend

The more important question is why would a state cup game that involved McLean’s second teams be deemed more important to play than an ECNL game with the clubs top team?

It is also ridiculous to require that teams play each other only if they each play the same number of games over the weekend. A few years ago we had a team playing two leagues and would have three games in a weekend. Of course our kids were more tired than a lot of their opponents, who were top tier teams. But nobody whined, complained or cared.

Oh but it does. It means getting into top tier playoffs or top tier tournaments. Means more exposure for the girls and more importantly, more exposure for the club, which translates into money. So yeah, it is kinda a big deal. Maybe not to you who sits at home and could care less because it’s not your business? But for others, it’s opportunity.

You know what would improve your kid’s opportunity the most? For you to shut up. I am certain your kid is not half the player she could be because you worry about this more than she does or anybody should. So yeah, like you, it really isn’t a big deal at all. At all.

No, make them forfeit points. This would drop them in the standings and open them up to not making certain top level tournaments.

All games will be played don’t worry

McLean literally booked VDA 04/03 (11 am) and 06 (1 pm) on the same field as a state cup game and determined that the state cup game won out because the other team traveled further.

You think McLean accidentally double booked this?

This scheduling snafu was an error but I gotta admit, it is pretty fun to watch the VDA parents twist in the wind.

Because McLean management is hopelessly inept. They are simply not smart enough to cheat.

Every time they make an error it’s in their favor.
