I think the bigger news is that FCV lost this weekend to Penn Fusion (1-0).

Serious news is that Pipeline lost to PDA 0-5. I think that was the score by which FCV lost to PDA. I would argue that Pipeline, FCV and Bethesda represent some of the best talent in the area and PDA destroyed all three in the past 12 months.

As much as you knuckleheads think the DMC is some hotbed of soccer, it is inferior to other parts of the country.

The PDA u14 and u15 teams are two super solid teams. They play great soccer. Was surprised to see that score vs Pipeline though.

Beach FC 05 Girls are the best team in the area. FCV or Pipeline or even the mighty NVSC are not as good them. BRYC? what a joke...

Have they played FCV or Pipeline? Or some other team that supports this? I'm genuinely curious.

I decided to take a look at the U15 girls standings for both the ECNL and DA. I've got a question. When looking at Arlington's U15 team results it looks like they have 2 losses but they are not recorded. Anyone know why? Because when you look at the standings they look like a playoff team because they have no losses.

I have no dog in this fight but FCV definitely seems to have the strongest 05 team based on what I see on the screen

The 2 losses were Cup games. The standings are based on the league games.

When they chose teams for playoffs do they take into account the fact that they have played fewer league games than everyone else?

By the end of the full season (Spring included) all teams should have played around 20 games. Playoff teams will be determined by full season standings.

The DA Cup is new this year. And games are not included in league standings. It’s a way to make the showcases more meaningful. The rankings in the DA Cup will help determine wild card teams.

Your logic is faulty. PDA is exceptional and is not the only club in NJ. One club does not make or break a hotbed theory. Also, just because there are “other” areas that are superior to our metro areas does not mean our area is not also a hotbed. No one said DC area is the only hotbed, just that they might be one of several.

I don't know but there is a missing loss for MU too from the league games. I fugue eventually US Soccer will fix it. After all, the winning team is bond to complain.

Stop taking away from pipeline. They are the real deal. They may not compete against the best, But if A is equal to C than A must be better than C because of their equal performance to B. One game makes the case.
