Bethesda ECNL did quite well as did the MSC team in the second bracket. In previous years most of the local ECNL teams and Pipeline played but this year Pipeline, MD United, McLean and BRYC played but were missing this year.

Let’s keep this in perspective. In 05, Bethesda squeaked by STA second team 1-0 and 04 ties STA second team and that is doing quite well? Maybe relative to this tournament but when we start comparing to the DA it’s a different story where STA first team is playing. This is a great indicator of the strength of the DA versus ECNL.

Good point. STA’s DA team is impressive. Right now they have a 40 point goal differential, and only played 7 games. Arlington lost to them 2-1 and MU tied. They have a strong striker who is the top goal scorer in the league.
FCV played them on Sunday. That was probably a great game.

I’m sure their 2nd team is good, but a different level.

Are you sure MU tied? I thought they lost, in every age group actually except the U19s. MU U19s won 2-0.

They tied them once during a Cup game. I don’t know what the scores were from last weekend, though.

Not sure of the score, but I heard MU got hammered by them this past weekend.

Annnnd until scores are posted there in no discussion to really be had over the score of a game. Don't worry it will be posted and then you can discuss the score of a game that you were not at.

I heard MU lost 3 or 4 to zero. But not sure of the exact score. STA 05 DA is a really good team. They have some really good players and possess and move the ball nicely.

Yes that's similar to what I heard. STA has a few nice teams. They did pretty well in other age groups as well.

Agree. Solid addition to the DA this year. Wish they were in the Atlantic instead of the Northeast. Let the Northeast have LISC.
