Bullis concerns

Sure, but some schools seek to improve athletics by recruiting academically qualified students and others just throw a scholarship to whatever kid can throw the ball the farthest.

I don’t thing any of the regular schools mentioned on DCUM bring in kids who are not academically qualified. I’d have to see that to believe it. All the athletes I know that have been through Bullis, do well in college for example. So it doesn’t look like they are bringing in kids who can’t do the work.

Yes, that just demonstrates the mentality of some of these haters doesn’t it?

Our experience with Bullis was really different from what I expected from the glitzy tour - like really different. At the same time, I find the “gotcha” on this forum to be exhausting. The school has pros and cons, and for us, the cons prevailed.

Specifics please.

Anything specific and negative is requested for deletion, which is why this forum is left only with the petty general comments. I'm not going to waste my time sharing specifics again.

I would hope this is meant to be ironic, but if you’re as smart as most Bullis students and their families, I’m doubting it.

There is no need to be mean. You are just as bad as the families you are degrading, so unfortunately you lose your credibility.

All you need to know is the football coach kept his job after the summer dispute with his wife.

We are so glad we pulled our daughter from there, and believe me, they are desperate for any families who can pay full freight.

The gotcha is so dumb, just stop.

The school turned it over to the County and allowed for due process. Good on them.

Seriously, what else could be expected? Fire someone based off hearsay to appease anonymous posters? That's a good standard.

Of course it’s ironic. i learned irony, spelling and typography, among other things at Bullis. I also learned how to be polite and gracious. Something your school clearly failed to teach.
