LMAO -- the Sidwell "not a parent" wants a specific issue reference. |
Actually no, different poster asking that. |
What time of year and what year does PP claim that the magazine had such a list? |
Court documents just released in California regarding the admission scandal associated with Singer scandal indicate that the former Director of College Counseling at Sidwell, Gallagher, was one of the original whistle blowers three years ago. He went to the authorities when he came across a pattern of unethical behavior by an “independent counselor” who was working with a few entitled Sidwell parents. He kept quiet and only worked with authorities. Sidwell offered him a payment to be silent but he refused it and would not take money. No wonder he left when he had the chance. Some people can’t be bought. |
You are saying Sidwell is complicit in that it looked the other way when some of its families fraudulently bought their way into college? |
Link? |
I too would like to see the documentation. Why would Sidwell offer hush money for unethical behavior of some parents? Seems to me Gallagher did the right thing, but Sidwell's involvement is really unclear here. |
If this is true, it looks really bad for Sidwell. |
That doesn’t make sense. Please share the back up/link. |
Wow, the PPs are all worried about their school. I want to say kudos and bravo to Mr. Gallagher for having the courage of his convictions, and by living the value system that we want to see in our children. There is a lesson here, folks, and it isn't in rounding the wagons now because you want to protect the "integrity" or "good name" of your school. |
So where are these court documents Mr. Gallagher? |
No one in the past 24 hours has disparaged Mr. Gallagher. At the same time, there is no proof or documentation of this new allegation against the school. Until there is, there is little point in continuing this thread. |
Here we go again - hold on, it’s going to be a bumpy DCUM ride filled with allegations and uncorroborated “facts.” UGH... |
And isn't the case in Boston, not CA? |
