I should add that DC is at Epsicopal and she is a FABULOUS college advisor! Please don’t tell me she is leaving to go back to Sidwell!!

Parents will be so happy to hear this..there were constant complaints..... The school is just reeling from recent scandal of swastikas being displayed at public events, massive embarrassing press, drama over the newly purchased buildings, many MANY over rated teachers need to go and this is a good move and hopefully the beginning of a trend..doesn't matter who made this happen, everyone better for it.

While knowledgeable, she was very unapproachable. Patrick was great. Sorry to see him leave.

So you're saying she is knowledgeable, but can't interact with students or parents or? That's concerning if so. How were overall placements during her tenure?

It seems like this was a decision that the school made some time ago and gave them the year to land somewhere else.

It seems that schools like GDS are ascendant but Sidwell has peaked.
