Official Brett Kavanaugh Thread, Part 3

They are really doubling down on how poor little Brett was affected by this. Come on guys! If that's what you're worried about, we know that means that you would never have brought May of this info forward. Ram him through, but don't pretend you ever had an open mind to believe that maybe, just maybe this guy did something so terrible and reckless, even in his youth, that would permanently disqualify him from a lifetime appointment to the SC.

Know what I think? You all are freaking terrified of what HS "hijinks" we would in your pasts if we went looking.

+1 He's been acting unhinged lately. Wonder what the Russians have on him.

Young boys, boys, and more boys.......no doubt.

Anonymous wrote:Good for Dick Durbin for reading out the American Bar Association asking the Senate to investigate the investigations on Judge Kavnaugh before confirming him. And noting that Christine Ford said she would submit herself to investigation by the FBI, while Kavanaugh didn't make the same commitment even though it's the right thing to do.

right thing to do to delay the clerk process to after the midterms!!!! Woot woot!

maybe it can still happen.

+1 If he were innocent he would have welcomed an investigation. There's a lot of people in Chevy Chase who won't feel comfortable having him around their kids anymore.

People in Chevy Chase are the most shallow folks I have met. They will absolutely have their children around s SCJ, even if he has a history of sexual assault.

You probably haven't met many people. And I'm from Chevy Chase, and people have been talking about how we won't be able to coach kids' sports anymore.

I live in Chevy Chase and know the Kavanaughs and others in attendance yesterday. They aren’t losing friends. There are plenty of social climbers willing to set aside morals and ethics to be associated with them. Trust me.

I assumed that people over there volunteer to coach not because they are really interested but to appear like good people and for social climbing reasons.
I’m a pillar of the community because I coach girls basketball (where my daughter is always a starter!!).

Was he trying to look like Merrick Garland? Who has tutored city kids for 20+ years?

Poor CBF probably regrets the day she contacted Rep. Eschew and WaPo. I bet she wishes for a time machine.

Yes, it's shameful. Hopefully she can take comfort that Kavanaugh's reputation was sullied and that America has learned that he's not the virgin volunteer choir boy he tried to portray himself as.

Yes, I hope she takes comfort is damaging his reputation on live TV all in the name of politics.

She's not damaging his reputation in the name of politics. She's damaging Kavanaugh's reputation because Kavanaugh chose to engage in damaging behavior, and the nation needs to know the truth before giving him a lifetime job at taxpayer expense.

media will help paint him like scumbag, no worries.

ABA pulled their endorsement and said that there should be a FBI investigation in order to maintain the integrity of the supreme court. They sent a letter to the SJC members last night.

Same ABA that he bragged endorsed him in the hearing.

Nobody gives a shit about the ABA.

Right that’s why CBF has had to move twice since this came out! Not Kavanaugh.

This is still the issue.

Feinstein picked the lawyers--Democrat activists.

If Feinstein did not leak this--then the lawyers did.

Had she given this to the FBI in July-or August--they could have done an investigation. And, what would they have found? Exactly what the investigators for the SJC found. No one remembers the party or anything close to what Ford described.

The FBI cannot figure out where the party was or when it was.

What would have been different? Ford would not have testified. That would not have suited the Dems.

Now, the only reason they want an investigation is to stall. Period.

Yep.

Oh, poor Marc Judge, who can't testify because he has a drinking problem, says John Cornyn. Give me a f*cking break.

Isn’t that the main governing body for lawyers? Huh. You’d think the oft claimed “law and order” party would care.

Like him or not, he is one of the most intelligent and accomplished people in this country. But jealous simpleton lefty hacks like you can chalk all of his success to his “whiteness.”
