In my home is my uncirc'd DH, 20something ds and 2 teen boys...NONE of whom needed a 'teen age circ' ![]() Seems like the folks who say the weirdest things about uncirc'd men are people who know nothing about it!!! |
Most common reasons for circumcisions at that age are poor bathing habits and excessive masturbation. It may not be common but it does happen. |
What teen does that? |
Yeah, let's circumcise 'em all so we don't have to teach them how to wash themselves, and so they don't enjoy masturbating too much! |
Ok the poor bathing habits, well they should be taught how to care for themselves. I don't get the masturbation. Are you saying excessive masturbation causes some problem that is then solved by circumcision, or are you saying the masturbation itself is a problem and circumcision will somehow cut down on it? |
Excessive masturbation can sometimes lead to balanitis and phimosis. If severe, may require circumcision. Nothing can cut down on teanage boys masturbating. |
Yes, teanagers should be taught proper bathing, to wear seatbelts, to use condoms, not to drink and drive. They should be taught all of these things. Doesn't mean they always follow through. To think that you've taught them so they'll always do it is naive. All we can hope for is they will do the things we taught them often enough so they won't get hurt. |
WHAT? No, masturbation is not going to lead to needing circumcision. You think men in other countries don't masturbate? Hilarious. |
Calm down lady. No, regular masturbation won't lead to circumcision. Excessive masturbation can lead to inflammation and irritation and in its most severe form can lead to conditions were it may be necessary to circumcise. It is rare but it can happen. |
Interesting what Wikipedia quotes on this matter: "Beaugé noted that unusual masturbation practices, such as lying face down on a bed and rubbing the penis against the mattress, may cause phimosis. Patients are advised to stop exacerbating masturbation techniques and are encouraged to masturbate by moving the foreskin up and down so as to mimic more closely the action of sexual intercourse. After giving this advice Beaugé noted not once did he have to recommend circumcision.[10][22]" Sounds like the problem is very rare, and circumcision to cure it is even rarer. |
Just a little too much mommy involvement there. |
Well, it sounds like you will not only teach your son how to clean himself but also how to pleasure himself. You should have no problems with your son ever needing a circumcision and he will turn out to be a well adjusted individual ever comfortable in discussing his penis with his mother. If you use visual aids, even more so. Congratulations Mommy! |
What a weird response! |
You're a weirdo. |
