Yes, they have been falling, they used to be higher. Circumcision used to be a default practice to many in this country, and I suspect it still is for most who do it (meaning, most who do it probably don't go through a period of seriously weighing the pros and cons). But thanks to raised awareness, the rates will fall further, and then it won't be the norm anymore.[/quote]

Most common reasons for circumcisions at that age are poor bathing habits and excessive masturbation. It may not be common but it does happen. [/quote]
