| 8407 Kitchen Bar. Thanks was DH’s and my date night place. |
|
I don't remember the name anymore, but it was upstairs in downtown Silver Spring, had a South American menu. It was the original restaurant in that space and where I first tried a Pisco Sour. They also had a ginger/jalapeno cocktail that was so good.
I think it started with a "C." |

OK, if you lived and loved the '80s in DC, join me in a shoutout to Suzanne's -- the wine bar above Larimers , on Connecticut Avenue north of DuPont Circle. I can remember many long Saturday afternoon wine dates with my galpals there. That just made me cry- totally forgot about Larimer's and Suzanne's. Not food but how about Robinson's Cricket shop! This may have been mentioned, but the restaurant in Georgetown on Wisconsin Avenue that they waiters rollerskated -can't think of the name! |

Rice Gauche
Germaine’s Little Tavern |
| Dynamic Dish (in Atlanta) |
I know the place you are talking about, used to occupy the space where Masa Hibachi is now? They also had great mojitos. |
| Cafe La Ruche in Georgetown...sexy late night dessert place with my hot college boyfriend. |
| Manhattan bar & grill on M St. They had a good brunch special. However, the best reason to go there was to get a table in one of the bay windows and people watch while drinking bottomless mimosas. |
| Colorado Kitchen even though the chef was nuts |

Shelly’s Woodroast in Rockville.

| Thyme square Bethesda — loved the linguini with goat cheese pine nuts etc |
| I miss the Pleasant Peasant so damn much. First date 25 years ago with my husband. |
| Bish Thompson and O'Donnell's. WHERE CAN A MAN GO TO GET HIS SURF AND TURF ON, FFS? |
Post-late night drinking fur burgers, lol. |
