Why do you dislike law enforcement?

Folks, as an individual who is a lifelong bookworm, I guarantee the postings attempting to conflate wanton police behavior with deaths in the medical system, are almost assuredly not a real person(s). The posts are repetitive and tinny. My guess is this is one of many recent AI/bot postings.

I wish Jeff would get rid of them. They are really spoiling DCUM.

Put your nose back in your musty books.

I dislike them because they’re predominately not very intelligent, short, largely powerless men. They’re the opposite of actual BDE which I like.

The problem is our kids are largely intelligent, which is a stumbling block to entering the police force.

I was thinking the same thing— most of these anti- LEO posts read as if it’s the same person.

I figure the majority, even here on DCUM, don’t have these extreme beliefs against police.

So in Congress’s newest budget there is about 75 billion increase to DHS for private detention centers and 10’s of thousands more agents. This is a 65% increase with similar increase each following year.

The detention center will have no oversight or inspection from outside parties including Congress, judges or lawyers.

DHS agents do not need to show a warrant, can arrest any elected officials, arrest judges, arrest any US citizen, etc with no cause or charges.

Scary stuff.

Based on the spelling errors in your post it is unlikely that your spawn is intelligent. Wait until AI upends their careers. Law enforcement is about to get a nice income bump from untaxed overtime.

Gosh I guess you’re right. My kids are dumb because I didn’t edit my posts on my phone. If it makes you feel good to call beloved children “spawn” and to infer that stupid kids like you say mine are should go into LE, well/ we agree. It’s for dummies.

It would be silly for someone to assume your soft children could handle the stress LE has to deal with or the tragedies they have to process. Your offspring need safe spaces and a WFM job. They’ll be fine because you couldn’t stand to see them struggle.

Watch this body cam footage recently released by the Fairfax County Police Department. A simple traffic stop on a Wednesday afternoon turns into an attempted murder of police officers and a deceased perpetrator. This is the type of situation law enforcement can face at any minute.

It was in April. They just recently released the body cam footage.

I grew up in a poor neighborhood, and didn’t see or have positive interactions with police in my life. I don’t trust them. This has only been solidified as I’ve seen how they act when they’re out to protect themselves or another cop.

"Most people never tell you what they are thinking."

The only people who "like" the police are those who either profit from them, or are in fact police or family of them.

I realize that but it was just released. It shows how dangerous the job can be.

Why, if everyone hates the resource, do they keep utilizing it? What do you do when you have the need for a police officer, and what is your alternative solution?

It's not 1950. Try calling 911 today and it's unlikely they'll even bother responding. "File a report online." Or if they do show up, they aren't there to pursue a crime, they're just going to write a report and then get back on their phone scrolling social media. They are grossly overpaid stenographers.

Meanwhile, their bootlickers will rationalize them doing nothing all day with, "They're pursuing important stuff and solving big crimes!"

No, they're not. They're literally sitting on their asses.

Every word before and after the word “bootlicker” gets nullified. Seek help.

Just not from 911!!!

Keep in mind that doctors kill a lot more people every year than police do.

Very true.

Medical errors in the USA account for around 500,000 to 750,000 deaths per year, and that's JUST the ones they admit to causing. Imagine the real numbers.

Statistically speaking, seeking medical help is one of the most dangerous things a person can do besides driving an auto and being around police officers.

Racist!!

Seattle police in action.

“‘Orders are being given to protesters to back away from officers and to stop throwing items at officers,’ police wrote around 1:45 p.m. on X, when arrests began.”

So it seems they were doing their jobs and got attacked for it.
