We could save a lot of money by him not flying to Maralago every weekend golfing. That takes a ton of federal spending-do some research you will be shocked.

Tomorrow they're supposed to take an 86-year-old woman to her dialysis appointment.

There's thousands of small organizations all over the country like this - this is what Trump and Musk are destroying.

So now Musk cuts have cost 2 jobs in West Va and an elderly person will most likely have to go into a govt funded facility ($$$) instead of staying in her home! I guess the government can take her house to recoup the nursing facility cost.

Great job DOGE

Eh not sure they are getting their funds either?

+1. That facility likely won't exist once Trump/Musk cut Medicaid.

In hindsight, Democrats really erred in the 1990s when they protected the American people from the worst effects of the Gingrich shutdown and during subsequent shutdowns. By carving out so many exceptions, they lent credence to the Republicans claim that the federal government doesn't do anything important.

Yep. Remember what a sh@t fit they had the few vacations Obama or Bush took.

This guy is on a golf course constantly. Or vacaying at Mar Lago while Elon and his teenagers tear apart the govt and steal our PII and classified data. When daddies away …

This is the problem right here.

I’m sure states like California, Illinois and New Jersey would be ecstatic to scale back federal funding in exchange for a proportional scale back in taxes remitted by its taxpayers to the Treasury.

Alabama, Louisiana, South Dakota, Wyoming, a bunch of other deadbeat red states, though? Not so much …

Then do it.

Brilliant. The his means they can’t just quietly ride the coattails of the litigation and will have to decide to speak up and participate if they want in.

Not to mention the $18 million Super Bowl ticket.

Except for the wealthy, who don’t file FAFSA.

Gotta wonder how Usha's mom is dealing with this. As a biologist and provost at UCSD, she's getting an earful from colleagues whose funding is disappearing.

It’s just too hard for some people to say no to “America’s Hitler.”

Did not Vance say she quit to become the grandchildren’s caretaker?
