| How long to establish a basic voting right?Allen allowed non-residents to vote so it really would be cosmic justice if a bunch of people got bussed in to sign the recall (something I’m sure he’s thought of for his primary). |
Step by step. First signatures of Ward 6 residents. |

This might be my favorite exercise of civil rights ever. #Fed up in DC.
The only issue is that the vote would be a part of the November election by which point if Trump wins it’s moot b/c will federalize the city permanently. The only way to be sure that won’t happen is for Biden to disband the Council now and appoint a control board with the rules and members the Democrats set including return to self-governance in 4 budget cycles. This is what Clinton did in 1995 and it led to 2 decades of prosperity until these carpetbagger clowns. I’m not sure I want to wait and see — that’s an RBG bet I’m not willing to take. https://www.hillrag.com/2024/02/13/board-of-elections-issues-petitions-in-ward-6-recall/ |

Donald Trump has never been a fan of Washington, D.C., and the feeling is mutual among most of its residents, who broke into spontaneous street celebrations when he lost the White House.
But the former president’s animosity has only grown since he left the city and as violent crime has continued to climb in the capital, while falling from pandemic-era highs in other cities, leading Trump to campaign on a “federal takeover of this filthy and crime-ridden embarrassment to our nation.” |
Recall Allen, then defeat Janeese in the June primary. |
Or, maybe Biden could replace his failed US Attorney with one who will aggressively prosecute? Seems like a much more reality based solution. Just a thought. |
| Thanks Carjack Chuck. I would much rather not wake up to another vomit bucket of legislation from you |
He was picked for J6, not as Guliani 2.0. |

Charles Allen literally said that all the legitimate claims about his record were MISINFORMATION
He has no shame |

650 more high paying jobs going across the river. This whole government needs to be recalled.

I don’t want either of those options and that’s one reason I support the recall. DC deserves to govern itself, and I want people to know that when you govern us into a crime spiral, there are consequences. |
| Time for DC to implement a cognitive test as part of the voting process. Only way to fix the problem on their own and avert a Federal takeover. |
