| So my bootcut jeans are out. I don't think skinny jeans look good on my 40+ short pear shaped size 8 body. So my other choices are straight cut or boyfriend jeans? Any suggestions? |
| Wear your boot cut. Boot cut looks best on a pear shaped body. You can "spice" them up with some killer heels or boots. |
No. There is no spicing up boot cut jeans unless you are a goddamn Spice Girl from 1997. |

My extremely fashion-conscious young co-worker just told me that "flares are back." Is flare different from boot cut?
I am an old and do not follow the jean trends. |

Scroll down to the boot cut jeans. These are definitely coming back. |
| Polished and classy are always in style! So wear whatever jeans look good on you! |
Wear the bootcut jeans. People who say it isn't on trend can shove it. I don't need to see ugly people walking around. For goodness sake -- won't anyone think of the children??!! |
I've seen in ads lately some long, lean flares (think worn with heels, not tennis shoes). |
| They're not on trend, but you won't stick out like a sore thumb unless you're really styled poorly |
|
If you are really fashion forward, they are back in. Otherwise, they are not, and consider skinnies (yes, even you) or straight jeans.
That said, wear whatever the hell you feel good in. |
| People look much better regardless of trend in whatever jean shape complements their own shape. |
I SO agree with this. I hate boot cut. Prefer skinny with flats or a small flare with heels. Been wearing those styles for years as they come in and out of style. |
|
Try ones with a slight flare rather than full-on boot cut. They're more modern and will still be flattering to your figure.
Signed, person with your same build |
+1 flares |
Does having children means you suppose to become frump? |
