I am from Nashville and a friend just told me about this page. I have some local tea on Tyler. First of all, he's not gay. He had a string of friends with benefits before Jen and most of them thought they were dating. That is a habit with him of getting chummy with women and then sleeping with them and the woman assumes they are dating but Tyler does not and then he plays dumb about it. I think the gay friend zone act is just a way for him to bed more women. He also worked in a department store for years selling jeans to women. He's a creeper. He acts friendly and disarming and also does a lot of those jokes about how he's not a hot guy but he does it to get women to be like, no, you are cute. Like a teenager fishing for compliments. He knows what he is doing. Women think he's safe and it's all to get in their pants.

I actually think it would be better if he was gay, but really he's just a manipulative womanizer. And thats why he won't ever gush about Jen online. Look at how many 40something white women follow him. That's his target audience and he eats it up. He's not their gay black bestie he's a predator.

I think deep down Jen knows he's a player and that is why she is working so hard to claim her territory by announcing they were dating so early on. He has never wanted to be in a serious relationship. Lots of women have tried and it's not what he does and his friends in Nashville know this. Why Jen would want to date a confirmed lifelong bachelor is beyond me but it is no secret he has never wanted a LTR. He's only entertaining it with Jen because she's selling his books and making him instagram famous, and attention is the one thing Tyler likes more than sleeping around.

So interesting! I never believed Tyler was gay. Remember how Jen posted about meeting all Tyler’s lady friends in Nashville? I’d be shocked if Tyler hasn’t had a sexual relationship with at least one of them.

Having a string of non-committal relationships with women doesn't automatically rule out being gay-- in fact I had a friend who was closeted for many years and did this.

I have no interest in speculating on his sexuality.
What is evident, however, is that Tyler is 45 and hasn't been a long-term committed relationship. That seems like it'd be a red flag for Jen, but I sense she has a remarkable ability to ignore what's in front of her if it doesn't fit the storyline.
