Valor

are asking for info here or discussing the pros and cons of Valor?

Not that poster, but some of us are here to get actual information about Valor. Every topic with any useful information gets derailed by pages and pages of trolling. It's not helpful and it's exhausting especially when some of us are just trying to make sure our kids can play soccer.

I agree! I too would like to engage in discussions and information sharing - good and bad. But as pointed out, the troll admitted he is not here for that. Even admitted he left this club. So why is here posting anything other than to troll?

The person in question wasn’t here to simply ask questions or discuss pros and cons. He was repeatedly spreading lies that were repeatedly disproven. Once disproven, he’d try to change it to some other accusation. That is not an attempt to engage in honest discussions or debate. That was the text book definition of trolling.

Arguing back and forth with someone you accuse of trolling is a weird thing to keep doing. You are not adding any value to the conversation to just keep ranting and angrily defending Valor over and over.

If you have are a Valor insider and or have any information on coaches Valor has hired, please share!

Does anyone know any coaches for 2012 boys?

You'll pay for all those amenities!

For the U-little ages, its substantially cheaper than Valor. Then its about even.

From Revolution's website:
U9 (2016) – U10 (2015) Club Fee: $2200 Team Fee: $370
U11 (2014) – U12 (2013) Club Fee: $2450 Team Fee: $410-$460
U13 (2012) – U19 (2006) Club Fee: $2850 Team Fee: $500-$650

Asking $2.5-3.5K to be trained by college guys with no experience nor licensing is a scam but also totally reasonable in the youth soccer business.

Says someone at a club with parents coaching teams? 🤡

Plus don't spout out easily disproven lies about other clubs. They don't hire college kids to coach their travel teams at Rev or any of the other local to Valor clubs that I've ever seen. Rev, Loudoun, FCV, VSA, Braddock, etc aren't hiring parents to coach teams either.

Someone already specified a Loudoun coach as being one who coached his own kid. That’s just one. I’m sure people can dig up more. But if you’re so convinced all the problems that Valor has is only happening at Valor, then go somewhere else.

Accuse others of lying while you consistently post lies.

Sure, one parent coach from 1 of the 5 clubs listed with over a hundred teams total-- you got me! Sorry, I haven't read through all 300 pages of posts on here. I have a life.

Point me in the direction of all these college kids coaching travel teams as well, please. I'll wait. Or, would you rather post some more pictures of yourself and your kid from social media doxing yourself?

Oh the persistence of these trolls and their predictable moves.
Troll: Post bs
Someone: confronts it
Troll: accuses responder that they are Valor staff and challenges it with demands of evidence.
Someone: posts evidence.
Troll: Challenges validity of evidence and more insults hurled at responder
Someone: posts something that possibly indirectly (or in one case, directly) identifying a minor.
Troll: Demands posts to be removed.

Still waiting to hear the names of the college kids coaching at Rev that you claimed falsely. Came back a couple days later to no response, shocking. Don't make claims you can't back up because you're mad and embarrassed about what Valor is doing. Many of us left for good reasons, people like you being part of it.

Awwww. Somebody’s feeling got hurt? Several folks chimed in with proving parent coaches exist in other clubs. I know nothing about college kids coaching and honestly it doesn’t even bother me. I’m not going to research things for you to prove or disprove.

Funny how you just admitted you are not even with this club and therefore admitted to being here solely for the purpose of trolling. So, while trying to pretend you are somehow on the high ground with better things to do in life than spend it on DCUM, you come back, scour back through pages to find where we left off, then troll again.

Great job, troll. Troll on! You win!

That's big of you to admit you're wrong. I'm proud of you!

Answering people's questions as a former paying customer and rebutting lies is why I'm here. I didn't know this was only a circle jerk for people who are obsessed with the club. You are the one spreading misinformation, not me.

Does anyone know if 2014 girls is able to keep the third team? Parents are being weird about how many bumped up and no one will say how many new players have been rostered for next year. Thanks!

How are they being weird? Third team seems unlikely

How many girls were at the first night of tryouts?

So they have sent out offers for the second team but not the third? who is the 2nd team coach? I'm sure someone would like to know.

thanks for the response that was my concern. They don't want to talk about who is and isn't moving up even though it's being gossiped it's a number of the players. I'm afraid they won't be able to field the team and won't tell us yet.

I just heard through the grapevine that CR left Valor.

Did you ask your kid's current coach if there would be a third team and whether he was recommending to Valor that she be moved up? I don't understand all the secrecy.

If they aren't going to have enough girls for three teams they really should be telling the families so you can try out elsewhere!

Not sure if the problem is not enough girls. I think the more immediate problem is whether they have a coach. If we are to believe the “grapevine” someone just alluded to.

His kid went from third to first team. No third team anymore to coach.
