Great they're involved with their kids but they use them to shield them from any actual responsibilities in their respective positions. I don't think that makes much difference. The point is that they have a command of knowledge that Kate has never come close to displaying. Nothing she's ever said about childhood development has been particularly insightful or erudite. We saw that when she did that event Jill Biden.

Mary and Maxima are both over 50, BTW, and look fantastic.

Diana used her position to raise awareness of various issues (land mines and AIDS come to mind) but Kate just says early childhood is important. Well… duh. What is she going to use her position to do about it? Which issues of poverty affect children the most in Great Britain?

I just think that with the massive platform and opportunities that she has been granted, I would want to do something with it other than shopping, getting my hair done and vacationing on private islands. I think it may be a generational thing but most people my age don’t view Kate as aspirational. She’s a beautiful woman but her life seems really boring and unfulfilling. She’s kinda like living Melania Trump’s life with two more kids.
