Hamas claims Israel shot the hostages in the head. The problem is neither source are trustworthy at all. Israel has consistently shot Palestinians in Gaza at point blank in the head and doctors have reported those injuries. It makes no sense for Hamas to keep them alive for this long inside a tunnel and then shoot them esp an American hostage, but this is what Israel says happened so maybe they are telling the truth. I don’t believe they would enter any Hamas tunnel without shooting every one and thing in it though so it’s possible they shot the hostages and that’s why Israelis are protesting right now |
You conveniently ignore that most Palestinians live in the West Bank and Israel not Hamas led Gaza. The ones that do live in Gaza lived there for generations since 1948 long before Hamas became a thing as their families were sent from Southern Israel to Gaza Strip in 1948. Very few Palestinians from The west bank moved to Gaza and almost none from Israel, the ones that have are either Hamas members or Israeli spies or both |
Is this why Israel kills journalists? If Al Jazeera is such a problem go blow up Doha but we know Bibi took Qatari cash too. He sold his own people out for money |
The Lancet is an incredibly well-respected publication. It is hard to believe these ugly truths, but whatever you may feel for Israel, you cannot ignore the growing death toll in Gaza and the fact that Israel is murdering innocent Gazand regularly. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(24)01169-3/fulltext |
Unfortunately, killing hostages is only going to make things worse for Palestinians. But Hamas seems to welcome that. That is why they did what they did on 10/7. It is baffling. |
Well, there it goes. Link is broken. Seems pretty obvious that the Lancet, being such a “well-respected” news outlet realized that they were posting straight up Iranian propaganda and pulled it before being called out. |
It's just a long link that didn't post correctly. You're in denial. I don't blame you. But at least use some common sense. I'll try again. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(24)01169-3/fulltext acknowledging the full cost of the war. It is also a legal requirement. The interim measures set out by the International Court of Justice in January, 2024, require Israel to “take effective measures to prevent the destruction and ensure the preservation of evidence related to allegations of acts within the scope of … the Genocide Convention”.11 The Gaza Health Ministry is the only organisation counting the dead. Here's the title of the Lancet article. It's still online; you can search for it.
Counting the dead in Gaza: difficult but essential |
| So sad. How many living hostages are believed to be remaining? Not bodies to be recovered, but living? I grieve for the families of anyone innocent whose life has been lost or injured on either side. May this end with the return of the remaining hostages, the decimation of Hamas, and a path forward for the innocent on both sides who genuinely wish to rebuild. How did they reconcile from the hatred and bloodshed in Rwanda? Whatever organizations did that will need to pour into this region tenfold. |
This is nuts. Why do people close their eyes and their hearts like this? |
None of these articles support that this is an ‘agreed upon fact’. In fact, they just repeat Israel’s allegations. Is your reading comprehension really so weak? |

Wow. Is that what you really think? According to news reports the hostages killed all would have been released if Israel had signed the ceasefire deal negotiated by the US and agreed to by Hamas. How does their death then not rest squarely on Osraeli government shoulders? |
