Same about “sugar.” It’s probably some psycho Meghan-hater thing. I don’t hate Kate. I actually feel bad for her. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to be in her position. I believe she’s incredibly miserable. |
I'll add that I think Kate is a sacrificial lamb and agree with an earlier poster that it's her family who has really benefited from her marriage. Pippa, her brother, and her parents have pretty great lives, courtesy of the position Kate married into. But Kate lives with insane scrutiny, a temperamental husband who doesn't always seem to cherish her, dysfunctional in-laws, a work schedule that may be fairly light but consists of tedious meet and greets, little speeches, etc. I would lose my mind. She's probably happy enough with the bargain she made, but don't assume many other people want what she has. Both William and Harry were known to have a hard time dating women who wanted any part of that lifestyle. It is not for the faint of heart. PP, does Kate have everything YOU wish for? There's not anything wrong with that-- different strokes-- I'm just curious, though. |
+1. PP sounds old. She’s not going to know a whole bunch of attractive people so it makes sense that she’s puzzled. I also feel bad for Kate. She used to be cute but she looks terrible and almost ill now. |
Yes, there’s a difference between criticism and hate and the posts in this thread are vicious. |
Vicious? Compared to what? |
I agree with this. Her mom said something around the time of their wedding about having thought Pippa would be the one in her place since she has more of the personality for it (and low key said she was prettier and more charming) but knew that "they" would get there, implying both of those girls were told to go out and bring home a big fish. The second part is true too. A big deal was made about William marrying a commoner, but I think he basically had to. The women running in his aristocratic circles had the option to marry rich and live a life free from public scrutiny. Why would they want this? They didn't. |

Good grief people. I’m 37 and aged rapidly over the past few years. She’s 40 and she looks 40. What are you expecting?
Sure she’s got access to the best beauty experts/doctors but time catches up with us all. |
The mom is wrong Pippa is definitely not prettier. She might be more charming, but not prettier. |
+1 not to mention, it’s ok to age and for women to age. |
Completely agree on #2 and #4. Perhaps the reality of this is literally the rest of her life has caught up with her. |
She is not aging like a normal person. No 40-year-old I know looks like that. Lots of normal American women in office much older than that who don't look like they're in the middle of aging cancer sessions. Something's wrong with her. |

She needs to gain 10 pounds. It would do her face so much good. I could always tell when she was expecting because she would be GORGEOUS.
She is starting to get into Madonna territory with the visible veins in her arms. |
|
I think she looks beautiful.
Could we not mention those whose thread was locked? |
I think it may be a generational thing but most people my age don’t view Kate as aspirational. She’s a beautiful woman but her life seems really boring and unfulfilling. She’s kinda like living Melania Trump’s life with two more kids. |
| I think the aging is just sun damage. Pippa kind of has the same thing. She’s like the anti-Dianne Keaton with all her tanning. |
