I am the PP who asked about whether the leaders of the democratic party have explained the insulting "no unscripted talk" policy. Actually, sadly, I am constrained to have to vote for her, for lack of an alternative. I was certainly not going to vote for an erratic, ridiculous, unpredictable, petty and un-statesmanlike criminal.

This pretty much sums up why I feel Harris is limiting access to the press. And why it’s good strategy.

The quoted article is BS. An interview or press conference would not mean at all that the media would intermediate between Harris and the public or "wedge itself" into the process. It would afford the public of hearing her speak spontaneous statements that had not been carefully worded and vetted in advance.
