You sound like a racist. |
You sound like you don’t have an argument. |
I'm not sure what argument either of you is trying to make, but I'll say... Generations of poverty (due in large part to official government policies that intentionally kept it that way) and a police force that was statistically much more likely to lock up AA offenders than other races.....we are where we are. It isn't inherent, it is the legacy of racism. |
Whites use the big lie about Africa, writing our great civilisations out their histories to claim that colonialism was necessary. African civilisation was thriving while the Europeans were living with their pigs. |
Yes, the legacy of racism has led to generational poverty and a culture which keeps many people trapped. The poor black immigrants seem to be doing very well. It’s the poor black families that have been here for generations that seem stuck in the cycle of poverty. |
It is a cultural problem pure and simple. Racism isn't preventing women from waiting until they are married to have children. Racism isn't preventing kids from learning to read at grade level. Racism isn't making people join gangs and murder their peers. |
Correct. Our collective culture as a country, and the subcultures of certain racial communities, that emerged out of a history of racism have resulted in educational and economic inequities that DE&I initiatives in part are attempting to correct. |
