It’s a classic fell and bruised her eye in Florence type of injury. Very common.

Rumor is Rick Mulvaney is leading candidate to take over for Kelly.

Personally, I'd prefer him to be out of OMB and CFPB where he's creating havoc.

Mick Mulvaney, love him or hate him, has been very effective and successful at implementing the Trump administration's policies and goals at both OMB and CFPB. Mulvaney would undoubtedly be a very effective WH Chief of Staff, but wouldn't the Trump administration be hesitant to remove him from the OMB and CFPB?

Are the heads of OMB and CFPB Senate confirmed? I can’t remember.

I think so. Mulvaney is only Acting head of CFPB, remember, because this one would be very hard to get anyone confirmed.

The next head will be Hensarling. But they can't appoint him until the lame duck session in December, since Hensarling is intending to finish his term. Two of Hensarling's top aides recently joined Mulvaney at the CFPB:

Aside from being bought and paid-for by Big Banks, Insurance Companies, and Pay Day Lenders?

Man, I hope whoever kicks Porter's ass first claims he "fell" and his his face on their fist.

Guess those other two women also fell. Seems to be going around.

Jesus, people, learn to read news. First of all, that Hill story is just cribbing from this Politico story.
https://www.politico.com/story/2018/02/13/rob-porter-ex-wife-black-eye-blamed-fall-meeting-reporters-407277
Second of all, it reports that Porter SAYS the black eye was from a fall, not that the black eye was from a fall.
Very different.

He really deserves to get his ass kicked. Can’t believe there aren’t any honorable men left in the GOP who will do what needs to be done.

Too bad Trump’s extreme vetting doesn’t always apply to his own staff.

I wonder what these women think they've accomplished? Getting Porter fired isn't going to get them more money. I suppose we will have to wait for Gloria allreds next press conference.

They’ve gotten a volatile wife beater who was vulnerable to blackmail out of the White House. Anyone with a moral compass would think that’s a good thing.

At what point would Hillary's White House Counsel and Chief of Staff have been brought before the GOP House and Senate committees for the same actions? I am guessing last week.

This White House?

Nothing.

As a woman, I think women are out of control on the issue of accusations. It’s getting to be ‘head on pike’ stupid mob mentality. I know many women who lie. When I had surgery and had two black eyes, women thought I had been beat. First conclusion.

The FBI denied Porter's security clearance. These women just made it all public, forced the WH to do what they're supposed to do.
