“The best people” - WH Staff Secretary dating Hope Hicks resigns after spousal abuse allegations

Let’s be honest: Rob Porter deserves a good ass kicking. I don’t care what your politics are, if he’d done that to your sister or your friend, you’d want to beat him senseless. And if there weren’t an overlay of tribal politics, we would all agree he completely deserves the ass kicking.

If it weren’t for politics, would anyone really defend this piece of shit?

CNN reporting the FBI was concerned about Porter because he was going to be PROMOTED!!

Kelly and Trump are horrible humans, period!

The testimony on the Hill today about this issue is very damning to the White House.

Maybe Sarah Huckabee Sanders should have a conversation with one of her many FBI contacts. I am sure any of them would be happy to tell her not to blame the FBI for something it wasn't responsible for the day before the FBI testifies before the Senate.

Excellent point. Based on General Kelly's past speech about "honoring" women, you'd think Kelly would have kicked Porter's ass himself.

The guy is definitely due for a pounding as he stumbles drunkenly out of a bar. It's only a matter of time, IMHO.

The president cannot give legitimacy to Porter's wives' abuse allegations because it would then (in his mind) lend legitimacy to the pile of assault allegations against the president himself.

The FBI fights back. Good for them.

White House Was Warned of Rob Porter’s Background Months Earlier Than Acknowledged

Christopher A. Wray, the F.B.I. director, contradicted on Tuesday the White House timeline about the domestic abuse scandal involving Rob Porter, the president’s former staff secretary. Mr. Wray said that the bureau delivered to the White House a partial report on problems in Mr. Porter’s background in March, months earlier than the White House has admitted receiving the information.

He's living with and boning women he's not married to. I'm pretty sure he probably drinks. That didn't stop Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID) from getting arrested for drunk driving in Alexandria: http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/politics-government/election/article111033717.html

The truth is out. Rob Porter did not beat his ex-wife. Her black eye was from a fall.

Yes, a “fall.” Did you read the article, or do you have the reading comprehension of a toddler?
