Melissa Gilbert’s husband, Timothy Busfield, facing warrant for child sex abuse

That would be very stupid because once these accusations are made the stigma follows you forever.

But wasn’t it also stupid of him to allow a 16 year old girl to give him (her teacher) a shoulder massage? Wasn’t it stupid of him to tickle kids on set when there’s a no touching rule? You’d think someone with his checked past wouldn’t allow himself to get in this situation to begin with.

And why were the iPads taken away? That interestingly wasn’t addressed in the WB investigation.

A solid citizen with several allegations from underage women…lol ok.

There is ONE allegation concerning an underage girl, with corroborating witness account asserting that her father was essentially attempting to prostitute her in an effort to get his script purchased for production by Busfield’s studio connections.

Always an excuse. Lol. It was certainly ok for Busfield to allow that 16 year old girl to give him a shoulder massage while he was her teacher, right?

The boys changed their story. You realize that's a problem, right?

Why are you changing the subject? I’m talking about the shoulder massage. On what planet do you think it’s ok for a male teacher to allow a 16 year old girl to give him a shoulder massage? And how is tickling children on set when there’s a no touching rule ok? These are major red flags and should be concerning to everyone.

On what planet does a shoulder massage make the allegations true? The parent have a far more problematic past. Hopefully someone is looking into them to make sure the boys are in a safe home because none of this looks good for the boys.

I want to hear your thoughts on the shoulder massage. You clearly believe the corroborating witness who stated he saw the 16 year old girl give Busfield (her teacher at the time) a shoulder massage.

I don't see the connection between a massage and young boys. How is this related?

Seriously? There’s a pattern of crossing boundaries that goes back years.

So again, I want to hear your thoughts on whether you think a 16 year old girl giving her teacher a shoulder massage is appropriate. Why would a male tescher allow that?

Tim admitted to tickling the kids in his phone call with the detective and he mentioned the iPads being taken away.

It's not a pattern if the girl isn't accusing him of it herself? It's a claim by some random guy from years before.

I definitely don’t see a connection between the parents suing an AirBnB owner for an accident that took place in their rental and the sexual abuse allegations by one of the boys.

You can ignore it but others probably won't. We know of the current landlord case and that's not the only one. You like patterns, do you see one here?

Father's Criminal History: Ronald Rodis, the father of the twin boys, pleaded guilty in 2017 to a federal charge of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. He was sentenced to 41 months in prison and ordered to pay nearly $4 million in restitution for his role in a multi-million-dollar mortgage modification scheme that defrauded over 1,500 homeowners.
Disbarment: Due to the fraud conviction, Rodis was disbarred as an attorney.

Mother's Civil Judgments: Busfield's lawyers alleged that the mother, Angele LaSalle, has "multiple civil judgments entered against her for fraudulent and dishonest behavior".

Retaliation Allegations: The defense argues that the accusations against Busfield were manufactured by the parents as revenge after their children were cut from the television show The Cleaning Lady (which Busfield produced/directed) in 2024.

Financial Motive: The defense claims the parents were seeking financial gain and were "victimized" by their own parents rather than Busfield.

But you believed this same “random guy from years before” when it came to his claim that the father of the 16 year old girl was “prostituting” her to Busfield to get a movie script? Huh.

The parents haven’t made the accusations. The children have. So far we have zero evidence that the children were coached. All we have is speculation based on the parents’ past. This often happens in cases like these to try and discredit the accusations. We do have 3 different mandated reporters that reported suspected abuse, plus the anonymous tips from the set.

I’m going to wait until court to see what happens. Continued back and forth and articles about the fraudster parents aren’t going to change anything.

The parents have not been charged with any form of abuse. You clearly hate them. Financial fraud convictions do not impact custody as often as not.

Busfield is charged with sexual abuse and has settled a civil claim by a grown woman of sexual abuse. Those are facts. He may be acquitted. But he is charged with sexual abuse and his parents are not. If there is evidence that a legitimate CPS investigation of the parents is underway, of course you may link to that.

Facts are facts and the parents are litigious con artists as seen by their multiple lawsuits. If we're bringing the past in then look at everyone's past and previous statements.

It very much looks like this when you look at the complete situation.

Looks like what? All I can see is there are lots of problems here and anyone pretending that that they know the truth isn't being rational or logical.

I agree with this. No one knows the truth.
