And the Russians and Saudis that own him too.

This administration has been knowingly doing illegal things nonstop. Can a future administration prosecute the current offenders for breaking the law? Just filing lawsuits by the injured are not enough.

Yup. Make every single thing in society a zero sum game. It’s horrible.

Negative sum.

We need to dismantle all of the ivory tower elitists that have destroyed the middle class. Harvard and all fo the elites demand our tax dollars while refusing to grant access to middle class America and use all of our taxpayer dollars to keep promulgating the elites in hoarding our nation's wealth. Go look up all of the politicians, lawyers, and bankers who've ruined us over the years. Almost always ivy trained scum.

Agreed - Ivy educated Trump, Musk and the rest of 47's cabinet need to be held accountable

The great $50Bn institution that America and the world cannot do without can’t even defuse a simple conflict. All Harvard should have done is expel Hamas supporters, cancelled DEI, stopped anti-semitism on campus. Instead their best brains got together and concluded that they don’t have to change and can oppose the administration and the will of the people.

Just because International students have more potential than your niece doesn't make it wrong for international students to study there. Your niece should work harder. International students shouldn't have to suffer for this.

As an American, I have no personal duty or obligation to international students. My countryβ€˜s duty and obligation is to its own citizens.

Getting the best and brightest to live and work in our country is looking out for our country. A lot our scientists are immigrants, many who came here as foreign students.

Spoken like a true hypocritical progressive elitist.

I am a moderate and far from elitist. My parent were blue collar workers.

What i am is not afraid of my children having to compete with foreigners.

I’m not β€œafraid” of them having to compete with foreigners either. I just believe that my kids, and yours, should have certain advantages and benefits conveyed to them simply because they are Americans.

That is the definition of being afraid!!!!!

No, it’s not. I have long list of ancestors who fought for this country and the future for their own descendants. It’s now their turn to pick up the baton.

Service guarantees citizenship!

You know who doesn't "have a long list of ancestors who fought for this country and the future for their own descendants."?

Not at all obvious that you didn't get into any college

The funniest part is the fact that you went to college and got an "education", yet somehow I bet dollars to donuts you're 100% incapable of soldering two pipes together, changing your car oil, or coils fix a broken door. Your job will be eliminated by AI in no time

And are those people performing surgeries, designing medical devices, or engineering planes? Everyone has their own skill set that is valuable to society.

AI will do that. Engineers can design planes all they want. They have zero skills actually building them. Lol, they couldn't solder wires in a plane with high quality if their lives depended on it.

I'm not at all surprised that you'd say something like that since you are so proud of being an uneducated moron.

Hey Hahvad scum, are you posting between your break trying to determine what private equity investments to ruin American healthcare you're making next, or between your time outs while trying to create a whole bunch of fraudulent financial investments that tank the housing market like 2008?

I'd rather American kids be able to access financial aid, and that not only those whose families can afford $90K a year are able to attend. Right now at all these schools, international students are subsidizing U.S. students.

Exactly. DCUrbanmom is currently seeming as stupid as MAGA. Are you all really this stupid?

Ivy Strivers are same as MAGA. Only care about themselves and getting any unfair advantage they can to win.

Also I want to have the best and brightest doctors for me and my family, and if that means a foreigner, I'm good with that.

But I do regret that we let Musk in as a foreign student.

He dropped out of school to illegally start a business.

Clinton is the one who gutted Glass Steagall. It doesn't matter. All of the ivy scum on the left and right have done wonders for destroying the country. Look at all of the lowlife management consultants schools like Harvard produce. They're the same consultants who pushed Purdue pharma's opioids onto the country, pushed vaping products that eventually got children addicted, and slashed all sorts of worker safety that has killed scores of middle class workers over the years.

I have nothing but utter disdain and thorough dislike of ivy grads. They do nothing but ruin the entire country while enriching themselves.

Why do you think this is good? I’m honestly curious. This seems bonkers to me.

Np. There is growing sentiment, across many circles I am in, that American universities should be for Americans. Maybe no more than 5% international. The global vs. homegrown balance has gotten out of whack.

I hear this as well, and not just from MAGA types.

The argument is interesting: universities have been accepting more foreign students to generate revenue, leaving fewer spots for US kids.

OTOH, I assume revenue from the foreign students allows for more aid to the US students admitted.

Tough balance to strike.

Harvard and other Ivies now give financial aid to foreign students -- I think that was the tipping point that made many people feel that policies need to change.
