meh. to cut 75% of all feds you should cut every single non-military fed (i.e. every single employee of NIH, FDA, CDC, USPTO and so on, ) and then cut maybe half of the military. even the average MAGA stupid should see that this is not possible and that if it was done, the US would go down the drain in a second. but it's good red meat to throw to ignorant MAGAs while their services are cut and regulations are cut so Elon and his billionaire friends can get another -trillion tax cut.
As a percentage of the workforce, the US has a smaller public sector than most other high income nations. Federal employees include air traffic controllers, the military, the VA hospital staff, the federal meat inspectors, the CDC, the National Weather Service, our embassies, and so on. These aren't wasteful, corrupt programs.
Corruption, by definition, is using public office to enrich yourself. Corruption includes, for example, donating to a political campaign when you have government contracts, trying to claim you are "auditing" agencies that might award you contracts or award them to your competitors, or perhaps issuing a privately held cryptocurrency while in office.
