Yes 14-0 at end of first quarter. Hayfield about to score though.

So all the non Hayfield kids save one are playing?

Now we have one football team in FFX county that is MUCH bigger, faster, stronger than all the other schools they will play. This is a serious safety concern. My son is playing freshman football and playing football for the first time. It's terrifying to watch him play against a team made up of college-sized, experienced football players. Of course many schools have a player here or there that is big and experienced, but it is not safe to have this sort of wildly disparate team that is unfairly crafted to be that way.

It's a safety issue.

Sounds like you shouldn't have let your kid play football at all if this is keeping you up and worrying

Nonsense-The whole point of freshman teams is safety and size concerns.

I have 10 of the 14 names and have seen 9 of them on the field.

onviously, people care?

A handful of cranks posting on a message board is meaningless. If you care so much, file a lawsuit. If you care so much, pack the school board meeting with hundreds of outraged homeowners. Otherwise, again, nobody really cares. The k-12 bureaucrats fed you a line about an “investigation” and this is now over. Move on.

Hmm, yet you keep posting in here over and over again about how nobody cares...

Ugly.

Watching the board meeting recording now and so disappointed in the comments of the members who voted against an external review. Hope VHSL can do a better job.

35 to 0 at the half.

Jeff just blogged about this specific thread.

Likely many of you do not even know Jeff does this daily because you go directly to whatever sub-forum and never even look at the homepage of DCUMAD (where Jeff’s blog posts appear; again, daily).

so the whole second half will be a running clock.

will the hayfield coaches show class and put in their bench?

In FCPS, residency fraud is rampant and FCPS’s efforts to fight it are perfunctory.

I know of a family who owned and lived in a beautiful large home in Prince William but enrolled their kids in a McLean public by using an aunt’s address in McLean (kids lived in Prince William).

While that’s just one case, a quick survey of the cars in the kiss and ride at our elementary revealed:

- lots of MD and DC plates. Some other out-of-state plates could have been .mil, but then

-lots of sports stickers from clubs outside the FCPS area.

But maybe they moved? Maybe is a babysitter dropping off kids ? Maybe maybe maybe.

The more simple answer is: there is lots of boundary cheating happening, and FCPS simply would rather not deal with it.

I don't really get the point of his blog. If I want to know what is discussed in a thread, I will just read it myself. Maybe he gets more advertising money off it or something.

They ran a flea flicker fumbleruski to end the first half so I’m betting no.
