did you know that Biden is old?

Notice how they all look at each other and then are like “I went after him last time, it’s your turn to grab him.”

Imagine how much fun Biden is having. Everybody and everything is brand new to him. He could hide his own Easter eggs.

It’s the upside to dementia. Every day is an exciting new adventure

Still voting for him. But it’s probably time to add an age limit amendment to the Constitution. I think this is the one issue where both Republicans and Democrats actually agree. We’re going to have a senile old dolt as president for the next four years regardless of who you vote for. Not exactly the best and brightest when the 80 something’s are running the show

Yes please. Age limit of 70 or 75 would be a great idea.

Wow. The denial is amazing. You refused to notice the other people in the video - all major European leaders - effectively going "err.... what the heck" and the Italian PM quickly and gently going over to Biden and escorting him back to the group, just like a nicely mannered granddaughter does for her grandfather with dementia at a family Easter dinner. The contrast between Biden's behavior and movement and the rest of the leaders is glaringly obvious to all but the most hardcore partisans.

Anyone who's dealt with aged family members *knows exactly what is going on*. And it's nothing to do with partisanship, but honesty.

This. I'm not a Democrat but I hate what the GOP has become in recent years and I voted for Biden. My dad has dementia and is about the same age as Biden. I thought the plan was for Biden to defeat Trump and then step aside after one term and I think he should have stuck with that. This is just painful to watch.

I thought that as well. I thought I remember Biden promising he would only serve one term?

So it matters the people they appoint and empower, but history tells us you are dead wrong that "all" that matters is the people they appoint and empower.

Wrong. Same story under the Obama administration. They hire the best and brightest young people and put them in positions where they can make the best decisions for the nation. The President is simply there to act as the public face of the administration.

Well the fact is that the economy is terrible, Title IX has been destroyed, and illegal immigration is totally out of control. So these "best and brightest" haven't exactly done a great job. It's a sick joke that we're stuck choosing between these two senile old men.

It was at the very least heavily implied.

The entire incident is crazy, but when the Italian PM leads him back to the group of leaders it’s clear he’s not there there. He shuffles back slowly without looking or speaking to her, no smile, zero expression on his face. He doesn’t look at anyone in the group. He stands facing the camera with a slight grimace but overall blank look on his face and in his eyes. His teeth are actually bared. He slowly raises his sunglasses and puts them on. He looks like a worn out animatronic figure. He looks nothing like the people around him; no expression on his face and not even noticing what is really going on around him. For some reason he was drawn to the Soldier packing his chute, but is too physically frail in voice and body to catch that guy’s attention.

I look at this clip and grow envious of other countries with young, virile leaders.

+1 And the Italian PM was clearly alert to the situation, and observing him with concern, and then positioned herself in a way that a teacher would guide a young child or one with special needs back to the group. It's all very sad.

She knew to watch him. The rest of the group was watching him. They slowly moved over to the area he was wandering and huddled around him for the picture, while he blankly and robotically put on his sunglasses and stared straight ahead. It’s like taking gramps out the nursing home for a trip to the park. Madness people are pretending he’s not majorly impaired.
